So pleased they went out - Balllack and Drogba what a pair of c***s!

That Iniestas not a bad player - cheeky bid in the summer/straight swop Joey O'Brien?

We'd want a cash settlement as well

How patronising is that? So the only refs for Champions League semi's should be English, Italian or Spanish?

Have you seen the shit we get week in week out?

Maybe, but only because they are used to hostile matches. I mean no offence to the Norway league but they dont have matches over there with the same intensity as matches in England or Spain.

And im sorry but that referee last night was a lot worse than the current bunch of premiership referee's (barr Mike Riley)

It was hardly his first CL game though.

Have you ever watched norweigan football how do you know?

The number of people there might not match the biggest european leagues but the intensity will most likely still be there.

The guy is Norways world cup ref so ref's internationals and European matches he's not some pub league referee

A bit like Howard Webb then

Case closed.

Wasnt there a top class German in charge of a the first leg and failed to give Barca a pen, maybe a stronger candidate may of been an option but there isnt a Collina type out there, I agree maybe the choice was bad for the referee buthe was bad for both sides

Chelsea deserv all they got

Drogda's diving and play acting got 2 mins Injury time.

Drogba missed too many chances in the 2 games

Barca should have had a pen in the first game, and Ballack should have been sent off....tie should have been over.....but Barca werent running after the reff....!

Barca showed what you need to be true WINNERS....Class and Dignity.....!

So it evens out.....and I hate chelsea!

But it will make May 30th Harder now!!!

Yeh he refereed at Euro 2008 when Romania played Italy. The Italian Football Federation later demanded an apology from UEFA after Luca Toni?s goal was incorrectly ruled out for offside in the Italy - Romania match that ?vreb? refereed. There was also criticism of the official for a penalty shot given to Romania and a yellow card to Daniele De Rossi at the ending moments of the game. Afterwards, ?vreb? admitted he had made a mistake during the game. ?vreb? was not assigned any more matches to referee at Euro 2008.

So it isnt the first time he's cocked up in big games

TBH, if I was put in Ballack's position last night, being knocked out of the CL in the last minute, not getting the penalty at the end and the emotions that go with it, i'd have done a lot more than running after the cnut!

But Drogba was more to blame; why not run after him and smack him?

I'd be more than happy to.

That refereeing display was Barry Knightesque - 4 penalty decisions turned down :nea:

Absolutely no comparison with last night's ref and Barry Knight's in the play off.

We got hardly any decisions that night, the most one sided refereeing I've ever seen.

Penalties turned down? We would have had a red card for daring to get in the Ipswich box!

aye

oh and the ref that incorrectly sent fletcher off on tuesday night

he were a wop as well

graham poll in the world cup anyone?

it's ridiculous to even suggest a norwegian can't do a big game

refs are refs, this bloke has done plenty games before

That would be a lineman decision, Dan. The ref wouldn't be in a position to give that.

What about all the wrong decisions given in the Prem week after week - including dodgy penalties and non-penalties ?

Nah, I'm not havin' it that last night's ref was any worse than most others I've seen this season. And in the Whites two UEFA Cup campaigns, I thought the refs were generally better than Prem standard - less inclined to miss diving etc.

The said ref geet a police escort out of the country

recieved death threats :pardon:

I like how everyone has suddenly become an expert on Norwegian football.

Get your money on Man U, they will piss it.

Get your money on Man U, they will piss it.

I hope they do ... And I hate them, but over the last 12 to 18 months , Platini and Blatter have overtaken my dislike for them, and therfore anything that will piss those 2 cunts off will get my vote, thats why I Was hoping that we would have 2 English clubs in the final to really get up there collective noses

Chelsea where the refs best friend when he sent abidal off. They lose and hes a fcuking idiot who cant ref. Come on please
