142-1 @ Tea

Our attack is not up to much outside of Flintoff

They've got tons of batting too

152-1. Ponting just got his 50 the cunt..

201-1 :shok:

Disciplined batting by the Aussies today, although they were helped by a pitch

that did not help the bowlers one bit  No swing today at all

Swing has fook all to do with the pitch. Its the weather conditions like cloud cover that affect swing.

The pitch has been set to last for 5 days, therefore more money for Glamorgan CCC as they splashed out far too much money to secure the match.

I think that makes sense...

I know.

Memo to self; my mood does not have to depend on how the test is going.

We win more test matches (in a 5 match series) than they do, simple really.

So each test is 5 days? And do they change the venue or do they stay at Cardif for the 5 tests? When is the second test? Do they just keep going untill there all out e.g. unlimited overs?

There is a test in each of the "home countries", with England getting two, as it's our team- this one is in Wales. The next one is in Glasgow and starts next week I think. After that, they move down to the Oval in London for one, then back over to Belfast for one. The final match will be at Lords, the home of cricket.

Each test is 5 days long. You keep going until each team is out, for a maximum of 4 innings (2 each) - so there is every chance of a draw occuring in any of the games. It can get more complicated, with the "follow on" rule, but I'll let somebody else explain that

The interesting bit is that after the second test, each team has to play a "guest" player from one of the other recognised test nations, as far as I know we have selected Pollock (South Africa) for the Oval test, Gayle (Windies) for the Belfast match, and bizzarely Warne (Australia) for the final match, which should be very interesting. I'm not sure which guest players Australia have selected.

Each test is untill each team has had 2 innings or 5 days which ever happens first

the 5 tests will be held at different grounds around the country (this time Cardiff, Lords, Headingly, Edgebaston and the oval)

the snd test is at lords starting on the 16th
