The cricket team are as bad as the football team over paid prima donnas, yet again bottled it when the going gets tough, this country produces losers with no grit or stickability, something seriously wrong with our society.

 

 

 

I blame the youth, all they want to do is hang around the street corners getting pissed/drugged up and attacking randoms.

The education department needs to be looked at too, there is little competion within schools to play sports against other schools, there is also lack of discipline and all this bollocks about all losers finishing second, disgraceful

The lack of competitiveness in school sports is criminal. My old primary school headmaster used to belt out " Its not the winning or losing but how you play the game ". Its true but you can still play it the game in the right manor and still grind your opponent into the dust. I dare say he's turn in his grave if he knew how school sports has changed at primary & secondary level. Federer, Woods & Armstrong all learnt to lose, they quickly realised they did'nt like it & made sure it did'nt happen often. We're almost at the point were they'll give the trophy to the loser in school sport. Thats something else we can learn from the Yanks, Germans & Aussies

From the postion we were in, to get a draw will give us great confidence for the next test, be intresting to see some of the headlines after the slaughtering the team got in the press yesterday.

But 4 centurions and Clarke topping any of our batsman with 80 doesn't really bode well for ourselves.
