July 19, 200917 yr bolton-megson hull-brownie man city-hughes pompey-hart world cup winners- zola top 5 in no order. Edited July 19, 200917 yr by fester58
July 20, 200917 yr Sorry to disappoint some but I reckon Gary Megson will be around for a while. I'll go for Wigan, Hull and Birmingham. Most promoted teams are OK with their managers even if they go down but I reckon Mcleish doesn't have the greatest relationship with the board.
July 20, 200917 yr megson - it would take a disasterous start to the season for him to be sacked. and that wont happen, i'd put my house on it. hull city wigan
July 20, 200917 yr Chelsea, why break the habbit? Sunderland, just think bruce will come unstuck Spurs, Arry to get itchy feet once again
July 20, 200917 yr Its odd that the ones that put Megson on their list are the ones that always bleat on about him not being good enough and everybody else actually thought about it. It's the ones that you expect to get the boot not the ones you wish would Mine: Hull Liverpool Chelsea (don't known why - just got a feeling they are going to have a hit and miss season)

It seemed like it was just a bit of closed season fun, nothing too heavy, no prizes. Seeing as how you have decided to make it personal against a few posters, I'll give you my reasons:- 18 points from last 20 games 2 goals from last 6 Ticket sales not looking great Lack of TV exposure may make the Board jittery. Not much in the way of signings yet, certainly not to get me over optimistic that we can reverse the poor run we finished the season on. Current squad size suggests we're knackered if we get key injuries early doors. Rumours of possible Cahill sale. Perhaps some of us did actually think about it. Dont forget- you started it! It was only a game, what possible difference could it make whatever I or others on here think?

Based on Squidgy's logic, on that deadpool you run if you suggested a name or names it meant you wanted them to die, not that you thought it was possible. All depends on our start. If it goes badly, some of the things I mentioned will become issues or excuses for a jittery Board. If the Board, not Megson, sell Cahill and we're bottom after 10 games, do you really think PG will acknowledge the Boards contribution or more likely will he be looking for a scapegoat? Cant remember the last time a Board sacked themselves.
July 20, 200917 yr nobody will go board or manager even if they do start badly even if they do sell cahill even if theyre never on the telly (note to gary m....a new measure of success - how many times we're on tv) so, be happy in the knowledge you can keep coming on here calling megson and his signings
July 20, 200917 yr Dunno what happened there. Casino, it doesnt really matter what me or you think. If the team does well or badly it's unlikely to have anything to do with me or thee. I'm not his biggest fan, many arent, but that doesnt stop me cheering on the lads when I'm there. This thread is just a fun prediction thing, a bit of internet harmless banter. If you're right- marvellous. If I'm right- big deal.
