last year we went to see david copperfield in vegas (name dropping) he got our lass on stage and asked her to pick some numbers between 1 and 100, think it was two, she did and then he opened this box and there was a tape in there of him predicting the numbers.

anyhow, I reckon the balls weren't on the stand at the start - they're painted on the wall behind, but the camera angle suggests otherwise. How that helps is beyond me

He doesn't claim to be a magican or illutionist any more, he started out like that. As you can see from this and any other of the shows he does. It is all mind over matter and reading people! I don't know if you saw the programme where he put someone to sleep via a shoot em up arcade and then put them into the game - absolutly brilliant!

 

There is obviously something not quite right with this. On the youtube clip, ive watched repeatedly, there is only one camera shot, nothing is ever covered and it is hand held for a reason - the reason being no screens are used and slid out of the way at the end.

 

My best mate is an illutionist and currently out of the country but just mailed him the link to see if he can shed any light.

The maths says he?d only have to do 2.5 hours of filming every day for a year to record all the possible outcomes. I wouldn?t be surprised if this was how he did it, the crazy motherfucker. He's done similar things in the past.

And if you DEFINITELY know you'll match 5 of the balls, the odds of matching the last one aswell is only 1/42. I'm not saying I believe this is actually how he did it, but it's a possibility.

 

He did something along similar lines a while back, tossing a coin and getting 10 heads in a row. He'd actually stood there for 9 hours just tossing the coin until it actually happened, th odds of which are 1/1024. Nowhere near the scale of "predicting" 5 lottery numbers, but the principle is the same.

I recorded it, so I watched it again last night - about 6 fucking times because I'm a loser.

 

Haven't got a fucking clue how he did it. Infact, the more I watched it, the less I knew. Absolutely flawless. I've heard something about one of the balls looking like it moved, but I didn't spot anything.
