Bolton have had 21 more seasons than Leeds in the top flight.

Leeds beat Bolton in seasons spent in Div 2 though.

well, only 11 of the current 20 PL teams are into double figures in terms of PL seasons completed, and we're one of them

You should be in the top 25 of this country, but that list doesnt prove that, it has Bury in the top 25 !!!!

That is one of the most idiotic articles I have ever read about football. The guy is a complete tit.

This thread is an absolute disgrace

Dogging is a very public display. How the hell can you say that it is supposed to be a secret hobby

Boltons place in any top league of 25 would be asssured in either the full histoy of the club or from when the premier league began, the only area where we might struggle is attendance criteria if that ever came into play. It goes to show what a fantastic club BWFC is that despite being hampered with smaller crowds due to our proximity to the large conurbations, we have always punched more than our weight and continue to do so, something alll Bolton fans should be proud of.

Indeed:

Premier top 25 in terms of seasons (including this one) in it:

Arsenal 18

Aston Villa 18

Chelsea 18

Everton 18

Liverpool 18

Scum 18

Spurs 18

Blackburn 16

Newcastle 16

West Ham 15

Boro 14

City 13

Southampton 13

Leeds 12

Bolton 11

Coventry 9

Fulham 9

Sunderland 9

Charlton 8

Leicester 8

Sheff Wed 8

Wimbledon 8

Derby 7

Pompey 7

Brum 6

best bit is this

"For the most part it is due to wealthy benefactors who have bought into them because they are cheap investments."

"This is pure chance taking by people who have seen clubs as a method to get enhance their ego and earnings."

so you've got Newcastle run by Mike Ashley who wanted to enhance is ego so bought them, and f?cked them up

and Leeds are in division 2 because Ridsdale went on a massive ego trip and ran the club into the ground, and f?cked them up

I dont know what's funnier, this picture, or the fact that you actually spent time thinking and creating this ?? Surely this sad bitter blue doesn'y bother you that much ???

What a complete cock Stan Collymore is, i bet he didn't have the same views when he was playing for Bradford & Leicester in the Premier League who incidently wouldn't be in his ideal premier league quite happily taking 40 grand a week,no he would be languishing in the lower leagues playing for an apparantly "smaller club" earning hardly fuck all because all the tv revenue would be in the premier league, somewhere he would be nowere near. What a clueless hypocrite twat he really is.

so

when do we cease punching above our weight?

is it really down to crowds?

Reading the article by Stanley and the subsequent debate on here:

it's 1-0 to Collymore. He's got a job to provoke debate: job done. That's all it is to him: it's probably not his opinion.

It's still 1-0 to us, that was a venture into our half, to equalise he's got to produce something as memorable as Andy Todd twatting him in front of the Paddock.

Not going to happen, not now, not ever
