November 30, 200916 yr This place is like excuse central. The line up against Northampton: Jussi Jaaskelainen, Gretar Rafn Steinsson, Gary Cahill, Dan Shittu, Jlloyd Samuel,Gavin McCann,Fabrice Muamba, Joey O'Brien, Mustapha Riga, Heidar Helguson, Ricardo Gardner It should have easily have been enough to beat a team that got relegated to League two at the end of the season. As for Cahill getting sent off, we were already two down by then. We had four decent-ish chances in the first twenty minutes, but after that our players didn't look as they gave a fuck until Davies and Nolan came on.

Like I said: the defeat was down to players' attitude, not the strength (or lack of) of the the squad.
November 30, 200916 yr Not sure if it's ITV or BBC who pick a team at the start of the competition and then follow the winners of each round to the final. Saturday, it was Lincoln, so a good possibility we could be televised. If this is the case, then we could be looking at an all time low crowd at the Reebok.
November 30, 200916 yr Manure v Leeds and the other All Prem games will come up the list before us - no chance of us on TV i dont think...
November 30, 200916 yr Manure v Leeds Have they let Dirty Leeds go through to the 3rd round after drawing with Kettering?
November 30, 200916 yr Dont be so Pedantic !! assuming Leeds go through then it will be televised !!!!

Three defensive midfield players at home to Northampton. I doubt many League One sides paid Northampton that compliment last season.
November 30, 200916 yr doubt they played many teams consisting exclusively of u21 and senior internationals, either
November 30, 200916 yr Three defensive midfield players at home to Northampton.I doubt many League One sides paid Northampton that compliment last season. even with that fact, that side should have beaten Northampton without too much fuss. As Casino has said all of them have represented their country at U21 level or higher
