Gary Meson Please Resign!

You have come to my club against the wishes of the vast majority of it's supporters. You inherited a set of decent platers, in the main developed by sam allardyce. You think it's clever to announce the fact that you're disliked. You have made yourself a wealthy man off the back of a stuttering premiership team. you said our style of football would change. you said you needed time to gather your own team.

Bolton Wanderers are my club. Not yours. You've done enough damage already.

Be a man and admit that you've not delivered.

Please, please go.

Message to the board. How much lower can we stoop. How much more are we expected to take of this embarrassing decline.

Seconded, but it won't happen as who would walk away from a multi million pound contract however much shit is thrown at him.

Can the club not use normal employment law and start sending him written warnings over poor performance??

worthy, i didnt know you were related to gary?

or are you being condescending?

Oh and another thing. Andy O'brien and Gavin McCann are liabilities. I hear we tried to get rid in the summer and now they're in the starting 11!. Muamba is better than Mccann. We have a problem finding a second centre half but it certainly aint O'brien.

Klasnic is class. he will get goals.

Please resign, it's not your club, it's mine!!!!

like many other decent, patient fans I gave him time, contrary to many other of my colleagues I still go to the games. I have defended him, but his time has elapsed.

I'm not a bed sheet waving activist, but at the moment I would probably enlist with the mindless masses

Ok, So if he was to get the bullet 1st thing Monday morning, Who would you get in to do the Job??? it has to be a realistic choice!!

Pointless question. Whatever is posted as a reply will have no effect on who is appointed. However, unlike a lot on here I believe there would be many applicants. Most people would want to manage a team in one of the best leagues in the world, especially one that is for want of a better word "established".

No arguments with that sentiment, lets analyse what he has acheived in his two year tenure:

1) Has taken us back to where we were when he was appointed.

2) Has failed in two years to buy a quality midfield player who can control a game, stand on the ball and pass accurately.

3) Has wasted between 8 and 12 million on a striker who0 frankly would struggle to strike a match!

4) has brought in 3 defenders in Ricketts, Knight and Robinson, one of whom has cost ?4 million who are inferior to the players who were plying in their respective positions last season.

5) Distances himself from bad results, blaming the players, supporters - anyone but himself!

6) Is universally disliked by the fan base and has the charisma of a turgid slug.

I cannot believe that even Gartside can ignore the current plight and that Meggo will be in charge next week - please!!

does that not apply to every discussion on here?

I think there would be a lot of managers interested

We're 4 points off Hull, with 2 in hand and have to play them at home. There is hope

We have established Prem players - Jussi, Davies, Cahill, Samuel, Taylor and one with potential Chungy

Wolves, Pompey and Burnley should finish lower than us

George Graham for me, with him pulling off a masterstroke and employing John McGinley as part of his backroom staff to improve the link/feeling between club and fans

If we can't get an established manager with a good track record, unlike Megson, then lets go for an up and coming manager who will hopefully make his name with us, and if he doesn't will we be in any worse a position than we already..

True but I have already seen many previous threads suggesting potential managers which resulted in to a meltdown of mutually slagging off between Bolton fans for the suggested candidates. The second part of my post was positive in respect that I believe that there would be many applicants for the job. I hope the board don't select the next manager in advance of Megson being sacked. I hope they allow a period of time, and keep an open mind (unlike last time), before the next manager is selected.

You cant blame Megson for a/ taking the bwfc job and b/ not resigning.

If i got offered the job as chief exec of ASAD then i would take it and hold on to it for as long as possible, to hold on to it i would blame everyone bar myself for its poor performance as has Megson at bwfc. Megson was never the right calibre for this job and his CV showed it.

This Gary Meson fella, is he a Gary Megson tribute act?

[i used to go to the most home games but since megson took over i quit , i am not one of those thats jumps on the band wagon but i think its time for Megson to go.

Nah he was a black boxer wasnt he??

Its not our job the find the next manager. One thing for sure is we need one because our current one isnt producing the results, criticising the customers and bitching about the staff. He is an utter cunt

Agree with everything, the fact that we cant keep a clean sheet bodes very bad

today again 5 man midfield outplayed by wolves 4

time to go

just heard megson on gmr

heard all the excuses before

If I may interject

Doesn't everyone seem a whole lot happier now they've REALLY got something to whine about?

Obviously, the situation is shite, but I always get the feeling people are slightly releived that something is wrong.

Makes them feel a little bit better I reckon.

As you all were.

I love a good moan. Have you seen the price of a Warbies loaf these days? Shocking.

Here's someone who likes a good moan, blame anybody except himself . . .

I don't know where to start. I'm sure Meggo doesn't read this site, I certainly wouldn't if I was he. I doubt the board do either, why the fuck you are messaging them on here I really ain't got a clue.

I've got more respect for the bedsheet brigade than people who post stuff like this straight after a game. At least they have thought about their actions and carried them through in person, even though they'll get abuse as well as support. If you actually give a fuck, get down to the ground and protest, phone, email, write, whatever to Megson, the board or anyone else you can think of. I can assure you posting it on here is a waste of bandwidth.
