My favourite Chippy when I was a lad was Hartigans on Morris Green Lane.

I always called the owner Alf.

Always knew that one day, I would adopt the name.....

There was no better, plate meat pie, chips, peas and gravey than Hartigans, unfortunatley, you had to order it 3 times to fill you

Owd on - he hasn't realised there's one on his hat yet.

Mine's straightforward. When I landed in Wollongong in 1988, the first football club I played for down here (Russell Vale FC)had about 20 Petes in the club so they all got their hometown put in front to save confusion and it very quickly got shortened to Bolty. It stuck.

The 58 bit should be obvious.

Funny they weren't all called "Bruce".

After using a number of alias' during those heady day's of "Here we go again", COFTW and "wanderers ways" such as Shady O'Toole, Dr Norman Smeartest, Gordon Broadbent and Ray Burke, I adopted the name of one of our contributors, and top sellers favourite porn stars. He had quite a collection I do believe. Till his mum found it!
