Judging by the last 3 recent away performances, there wont be many there.

I really do think the club have missed a trick by not making this game free travel as well as all the remaining away games, surely the extra money made from both the Spurs games would easily cover it. Could make all the difference in the relegation battle, 3 London trips, we'll be lucky to get 500 at any of them

If free travel was on then i'd go but too expensive otherwise.

booked our tickets anyway as we are in The smoke for the weekend to see friends.

i hope they do put free travel on for this one tho. If anyone at the club are reading this, your missing a trick here

The FA website stated the club received ???? (Can't remember the correct figure) because last nights game was on the interweb.

To be honest, it sounds like the club are trying to balance the books after last seasons ?12m loss.

We'll be making much bigger losses in the Championship

?133,000

8 or 9 coaches to London??????????

I'll be there...

Approx ?750 each. In context, 20 coaches would prob be less than many of our players earn in a week (unless they are on performance based pay).

worth sending an email to Phil?

FOOK THIS FREE COACH LARK AND CHEAP TICKETS IF YOU DONT WANT TO PAY FULL WHACK THEN DONT GO,FOOTBALL AINT ABOUT SUBSIDIES.

Those people advocating free travel have obviously forgotten what happened when free travel wasa provided for the League Cup game at Chelsea. A brain dead idiot who apparently thought he was exempt from the law regarding alcohol on transport to and from football games assaulted a coach steward at Norton Canes services and was subsequently arrested.

If you abuse it, you lose it.

i remember you saying it would be scrapped, however they later offered it for the postponed sunderland game

that maybe the club has missed a trick in not encouraging as many people to Upton Park (long distance)against West Ham (fellow struggler) in a game which we have a reasonable chance of getting a win (3 pts). We'll have 750 if we're lucky compared to maybe 2,000 if some coaches had been put on. Dont get me wrong if the game is at Wigan I wouldnt expect free travel but down in London for a relegation clash? Did you see how many we had at Spurs last night?

Read Biff's post above, and look at the behaviour of some of our 'supporters' over the past season or so and work out why garty is thinking twice about giving free travel away.

The actions of the few once again spoiling it for the many.

but alcohol has naff all to do with free travel. if someone is going to drink they're going to drink. under 18's cant travel without an accompanying adult and some grown up blokes act worse-fighting at Blackburn last week. all you can do is ban individuals for life from all bwfc matches and travel. bwfc players running out to 2,000 compared to 750 can make all the difference or so we're told by players and management in recent interviews.

There were free coaches to West Ham last season & there was nowhere near 2000 Bolton fans there - nearer 750.

IMO you'd only get a couple of hundred extra with free coaches anyway.

The club put on free coaches and some moron attacked the coach driver, it might not be fair but you can see why the club are loathe to do it again in a hurry.

Micky D and Frank Spencer convinced me t'other month on here, that when free travel is available, Bolton take 000's with 'em.

I told them they were wrong but would they listen ?

;)

So every time we have free travel, we always fill the away end ?

As I don't get to many away games these days, I'll admit I could be wrong then.

pretty much.

It appears you don't take much convincing.
