woodwork saved us in the last two games...admittedly cos we missed too many

i see no reason to think we'll miss any less, so i'm not coinfident

Hitting the woodwork isnt a shot on target, you dont get nothing for it. West ham were also saved by the woodwork when we played them if your looking at it that way. We had some shit luck against Fulham with that wanker referee, maybe we got that luck back against Wolves? I do believe that the more confident the team get the more chances they will convert.

I love the club more now than i did this morning, its time to fight now gents, sing and shake your fist at the players, its Operation battlestations !!!!

a bit of team news.

sunderland look like they are gunna have Lee Cattermole, Jordan Henderson, Andy Reid and Kieran Richardson all missing.

the whites have no fresh new injury news and mark davies is fit again, but cohen is suspended.

i reckon it'll be the same team that played against west ham with ricky g to come in for cohen.

managed to find a boozer for it tonight.

COYWM

Gardner or Taylor in for Cohen - IMO , M.Davies with Lee & Wilshere would leave Muamba with too much to do. Maybe bring Davies on when the splendid Lee starts to tire after 65/70 mins.

Looking at the S/land forums, & they're very pessimistic. It probably won't take much for them to turn on their team & hopefully their dickhead manager.

im glad cattermole is out, he was brilliant in the game at the reebok this season

yeah i just been lookin around a few SAFC forums, all labeliing it as a "must win", "munich cock nose is shit" , "fans deserve to boo tonight if we lose to bolton", "we lose tonight were down"

if they lose tonight i dont think sunderland will go down simply on the fact i think there are worse teams than them.

Same MO as 'Onest 'Arry Redknapp.

Just managed to blag myself a coach ticket for tonight! 1 hour to get home, changed and over to the Reebok!!! apparently there are 11 coaches going!

Only just managed to blag one, with your contacts :pardon:

Take 11 coaches to Sudnerland mid week but just 1 (?) to West Ham on a Saturday 3pm, doesn't make sense!

Surely a long trip to London on a Saturday is easier than a mid week up there?

EDIT: Just remembered the free travel, clearly makes a big difference!

northerners dont like the bright lights of london.

sunderlands a complete shithole, but still better than east end of london!

plus theres a few on the coach who wouldn't have bothered normally but already had their ticket from the 1st game

I'll settle for a point: 1-1 with Elmander scoring for the whites.

Ricky in for Cohen,Elmo plays too,ffs lad gives us a goalthumbsup.gif

Are they going 3 up top with campbell, bent and jones? Should be entertaining.
