not surprised at all really, as soon as Petrov signed this was bound to happen. Both strong minded players, Petrov hasnt turned down Villa and signed to sit on the bench and Taylor isnt gonna bench warm.Id like to think we can keep Taylor and him fight for his place but think he'll slap in a request to go and a rival will pick him up.

I'd have Taylor over Pedersen if I were a dingle fan, mate reckons Blackburn won't be paying for anyone until a takeover is sorted though

I would be gutted if we signed Taylor. Not what we need now, maybe 5 years ago yes.

Just looking at our current squad seems like we more or less have a decent first teamer in every posistion and then cover/competition in every position. well almost

with that being said if we are going to properly progress next year we need another striker as top priority IMO a centre midfielder a playmaker. wilshere looks like he might be on the cards and then a convincing centre half just in case.

No wonder there's a rumour that some need to go out before others can come in - our wage bill is pretty hefty for players who just aren't going to get a game next season - Riga, Lloyd Samuel, Shittu, Hunt etc etc - all of whom would do a decent job for someone in the Championship.

 

I hope the club's admin team are doing the hard sell right now for the lot of 'em. Maybe a buy one get one free deal?
