I suspect the seven to be left behind will be Warnock Dawson or Upson Wright Phillips Bent Barry - if not fit Parker Cole or Huddlestone I personally would leave behind Warnock Upson Wright Phillips Barry Carrick or Huddlestone J Cole HESKEY

May 11, 201016 yr Capello ahs picked Hesky as he was key apart of the TEAM that qualified comfortably for the WC. Fabio obviously know how he wants his team to work and whilst Heskey has been poor for Villa he's obvioulsy important to fabio. The Lampard and Gerrard fiasco has proven you can't just pick the 11 'best' players and hope it works.

May 11, 201016 yr I know it is popular to be pessimistic around here but I don't think England will get past the second phase (last 16 game). We have frailty at full backs and goalkeeper, lack good options up front and without Rooney 100% fit I cannot see us beating the likely last 16 opponents which are Serbia or Ghana. I do think we will win our group but we are way off a world cup winning side!

Half the teams in the group were worse than league one teams, bolton would give ukraine a game and croatia are no great shakes- had alot of injuries in qualifying too croatia. weve a nice group in round 1 now usa - ok decent ish slovenia - isnt robert koren captain? - he struggles get in west broms team at times Algeria - on a par with southampton The key comes when you get to the big boys in last 18 - u play 4 4 2 with gerrard stuck on the left and heskey up top its good night thanks for coming england.

Or perhaps we can play the team that's done fairly well since Capello took over, he's been building since he came in and knows what to do rather than change everything a month before the world cup.

May 12, 201016 yr so, does the final squad have to come from this 30? sort of, if when he names his 23 from this 30 someone gets injured he can replace them with someone not in the 30. But if someone in the 30 gets injured then he can't call up a replacement.
May 12, 201016 yr What a Joke, King, Carragher and Upson should be nowere near that squad. i think King should, he's a cracking player, having said that we shouldn't take both King and Rio as we'll be knackered if both of them get injured. I'm sure I read somewhere that Rio has only played 12 league games this season, which really suprised me

We cant make exceptions, just because he plays for Spurs ! 3 West Ham players, 5 Spurs players !!! 1 Villa Player! Capello has suprised me, I thought he was different, and picked players on Merit.
