June 29, 201016 yr upgraded the 3gs and its screwed the blue tooth, no longer works with my car hands free or stereo. cant go back as apple are a bunch of shitbags and blocked the verification. If you have a 3g you can downgrade the OS, plenty of how to's on the tinternet. And yes OS4 is slow, pointless and shite.. wish i had paid attention when i clicked yes in itunes!

Can't disagree really; figured that many folk have an iphone, it can't be all bad. I finally buckled when I felt I was missing out on all these applications etc...plus my Blackberry is shit for looking at the internet.

There's a plethora of better spec, cheaper, mobile devices on both Android & Windows Mobile. And most apps that are of any actual use are available on these platforms too.

No smartphone is as usable and responsive as an iPhone IMO. WM smartphones are shocking and still stuck in the stylus era, by the time they release WM7 it will be too late. Android is getting better and better though.

I believe so, but I have no idea what to look for, so I've gone down the conventional route It also means that as I'll no doubt need help with it, every man and his dog will know how to help me as they all already have an iphone No doubt if I knew about geeky stuff I'd get something better but it's a no brainer for me as I'm a techie retard

July 19, 201016 yr I've fixed my 3G by doing a restore and installing the OS fresh, rather than on top of 3.1.13 or whatever. Good as new! O2 are sending my a 16 Gb 3GS though, so I think I'll sell the 8Gb 3G when that arrives. Any offers around the ?150 mark?
July 22, 201016 yr I looked at them and they looked tip top but O2 wanted ?100 for one. Girlfriend has a Wave which is nice. It's going to be all change when HTML5 apps are available so I thought there's not much point learning a new phone.
