If you have a 3g you can downgrade the OS, plenty of how to's on the tinternet. And yes OS4 is slow, pointless and shite.. wish i had paid attention when i clicked yes in itunes! Quote

Can't disagree really; figured that many folk have an iphone, it can't be all bad. There's a plethora of better spec, cheaper, mobile devices on both Android & Windows Mobile. And most apps that are of any actual use are available on these platforms too. Quote

WM smartphones are shocking and still stuck in the stylus era, by the time they release WM7 it will be too late. Android is getting better and better though. Quote

I believe so, but I have no idea what to look for, so I've gone down the conventional route It also means that as I'll no doubt need help with it, every man and his dog will know how to help me as they all already have an iphone No doubt if I knew about geeky stuff I'd get something better but it's a no brainer for me as I'm a techie retard Quote

Carlos Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I've fixed my 3G by doing a restore and installing the OS fresh, rather than on top of 3.1.13 or whatever. Good as new! O2 are sending my a 16 Gb 3GS though, so I think I'll sell the 8Gb 3G when that arrives. Any offers around the ?150 mark? Quote
