Any school master etc. who makes a fuss about people taking time off to show their respects to the greatest ever Bowtner needs public humiliation.

Exactly.

I know it's a matter of personal choice the way people pay their respects, but if Bolton Town centre isn't crammed with people from the town (whether it be BWFC fans or otherwise), then there are some that should hang their heads in shame.

He is the most iconic Boltonian of all time and he dedicated his life to the club we hold dear.

every effort should be made to doff one's cap to the man who defines all that is great about our town. Heaven knows, it needs reminding.

I've booked half day :good:

I used to work on Silverwell Street not 3 months ago. I'm now up at the Bok.

Will be trying to book half day off for next Wednesday tomorrow.

I would love to be there but I cannot get the time off work. I shall be paying my respects to the great man on Monday night and he will be in my thoughts on Wednesday.

RIP big man.

Worst excuse ever my friend, i live in blackburn, go to school in preston, but ill still be in bolton. Its a legend of Bolton, England, a model man for us youth to look up to, yet you wont take the day off? serious rethink needed.

Dear BBurn wanderer, NB's offer of cyber parenthood is rhetorical. Don't bother answering, she's now looking after you on here.

Still room for improvement. Your apostrophes need working on, capitalisation too. Also, in the phrase above, it's well, not good.

I'm sure NB will help ;)

Lets have a netiquette lesson thread.
