I started a new job in the summer, they had put a new team of ten together for the north of England and we all met up for training etc, the first thing they asked us to do was stand up introduce ourselves blah blah blah and at the end you had to say if "YOU HAD ONE BULLET IN A GUN, WHO WOULD YOU SHOOT" (get to know you corporate bollocks). The only person I could think of was Megson so I said him. A few fellas later a forrest fan stands up and low and behold the bullet in his gun is also for Megson!

 

10 random lads from the north of England and Megson gets 2 bullets, A TESTIMENT TO THE MAN! I had my fingers crossed he got his hat trick but unfortunatly not.

He said he won manager of the month in Nov 2008 and was urged to go onto the pitch and milk the applause and didn't because the fans had given him no help in his time as manager. He also said he regretted taking o0n the Bolton fans and that Owen Coyle was using his players to get success.

you can use the same players fucking line all you want. You got jack all out of elmander, alienated masses of the fans, had me borderline giving up on football altogether (as it goes I missed all but 5 games last season) and almost relegated us.

 

Compare that to:

 

A team that had a very good start to the season

Elmander looking like a world beater (however short this lasted it was still an improvement)

The reebok bouncing again

Emphatic wins and attacking football (see elmander)

Relative safety relatively early in the season

 

all with pretty much the same players.
