Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

  • Said nobody ever

eagley will be running junior teams at under 12, 13 and 17 next season

if any of you have kids who can play and don't want to be part of the BX and Bolton County monsters!

or,. if you run a team and would like to play under the eagley banner (all junior teams are self managed, so no cash goes to support the other teams or committee members new conservatories)

Train tickets in hand pal.

Need to watch the "supplies" may be a bit keen in this division.

I'd hope only FC United & Chester would be a problem.

Have to say I'm not really looking forward to these games.

Prefer games against local clubs with a friendly non-league feel to them.

FC United fans, and i hate admitting it were sound. Watched them play Leigh three times & Holker Old Boys twice and the followers came across as a decent set, despite the fact that they used to support the scum. Still very hated on the Non League circuit though.

Tin hat firmly on but I don't mind 'em really.

More concerned about the elements of Chorley's populous who'll turn out.

As my mste said recently, Chorley's a town with a siege mentality, even when there isn't a siege.

Colls won 10 - 0 in a friendly today at a club in Wrexham :good:

Cracking result that mate!

Chorley drew 1 apiece at Charnock Richard.

Not very good by all accounts.

Colls have got virtually the same team as last year, lost one very good lad to Skem, but the team looks well balanced, there is an air of optimism around the place even at this early stage.

Barra got beat 1-0 to Accy, good game in hot conditions. Got asked to go to the Alty - Tranmere game today for the benefit game for Mark Maddox who used to be a former Leigh manager.

Another good win for the Colls tonight, they beat a Westhoughton team 8 - 3 in the early round robin stage of the Atherton Charity Cup, a cracking game of football too :good:

Reet, off to the Colls, Charity Cup game on :drinks:

Another great win for the Colls, 10 - 0 against Hindley Town, now in the knockout stages. Colls last 4 games have been 10- 0, 10 - 0, 9 - 3 and 6 - 1, a couple of beltin' new signings seem to be fitting in well, boding well for the new season which starts on Saturday V Northwich Villa 3.00pm kick off at Athy Colls, everyone welcome :drinks:
