enzo gambaro Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I thought everyone was playing Bacup Borough this week? Quote
athywhite1958 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Colls must be fancied to win that one. Â Castle Hill play int Lancs Amateur League. Â They've won it by a country mile though. Â Colls played them in the same comp last year and won 4-1, hopefully the same again Quote
peebles Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I thought everyone was playing Bacup Borough this week? Â Blimey you're not wrong. Â 5 games in 5 days. I'd like to see what Fergie would say to that. Â They've a night off tonight though, waterlogged pitch: Â http://www.nwcfl.com/matches/2012/4/fixtures.htm Quote
Traf Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 And the 3 home games in 3 days from Friday won't take place either, as things stand. Â There's loads of standing water on the pitch and it's pissing down at present. Quote
stevieb Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 2 big games locally on Saturday. Â Chorley v FC United in the play off semi final to reach the Blue Square North. This is all ticket (?9 adults ?5 concess)details will be on Chorley's site later today. Â Also Rammy Utd v Winsford. Rammy need to win to secure promotion to the NPL. (?6 adults ?3 concess pay on gate). Â Might do this. It means we can box seeing the wifes family off and i can still watch an elite football side and have a drink. Â Up here for drinking! Quote
peebles Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Rammy Utd can replay their home game against Bootle, from a few weeks back (1-1 draw), if they don't finish top of the NWC Premier Division tomorrow. Â Bootle have admitted to fielding an ineligible player in the game. Â They should take care of Winsford though and save all the hassle all round. Â Still tickets available at Chorley for the FC United play off game tomorrow. Should be a good atmosphere with over 3000 on I'd say. Â FC have just about sold their 1100 allocation by all accounts. Traf Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I'd probably go occasionally if the manager wasn't an utter twat. Quote

leigh white Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 I did some work round the Rossendale area in the mid 90s and saw loads of Boys Construction vans wizzing about in the place, the bloke i was working for fucking hated them for nicking all his work on his turf. Noticed Bacups ground is called the Boys Stadium. Quote
Traf Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Boys have all the construction work tied up round here. Â Nobody calls it the Boys Stadium though: it's West View. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Colls won 2-1 against a very dirty Castle Hill side, anyway, Hospital Cup Final on Tuesday night at the Reebok - Atherton Colls V Eagley Quote

athywhite1958 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Hospital Cup Final tomorrow night at the Reebok, 7.00pm kick off, Atherton Colls V Eagley, it's only ?4 to get in [?1 for kids] if you're bored get down there, all proceeds to the Hospital charity, both teams played very well in their respective semi final's so we're hoping for a good game of football with both teams 'going for it' Colls won the Hospital Cup tonight, they went 2-0 up and allowed Eagley back into it, they equalised with virtually the last kick of the game, straight to penalties and Colls won it after 2 fine saves from our keeper, well done to BWFC for their support in this competition. Quote
Traf Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Did Colls squander a 2 goal lead in deference to BWFC's kind support of the competition? Quote
athywhite1958 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Did Colls squander a 2 goal lead in deference to BWFC's kind support of the competition? Â It certainly was a case od DeJavu Quote
