A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

Back in the groove again for this coming season. Just 22 grounds short for my 200 visits on different venues. Getting Accy on Monday and Hyde on Tuesday.

Us its Droylsden v Chorley Sat and Rammy v Cammell Laird week after.

Worked in Accy a few years ago, witnessed two brothers falling out over who could knock a chimney breast down in a house quicker, never seen has many loose bricks cascading down on E Lancs blokes yeds in my life.

Colls are at Dinnington,(Worksop way) on Saturday, FA Cup qualifier

Almost forgot, well done Diddles

Watched Ramsbottom V Bury last night, cracking game of football, all played on the deck, one and two touch passing. Games was flowing end to end.

Bury took the lead with a penalty, Rammy replied within a minute to level things up. Then my cousin popped up with a last minute strike from the edge of the area to win the game.

Exciting stuff, and all played the right way.

A good day at Alder House watching Oldham Boro v W Didsbury and Chorlton with Athywhite 1958. Looking forward to the FA cup tie in two weeks with the Colls.

For anybody interested, Athy Colls play their 2nd FA Cup prelim/qualifier on Saturday 25th August 3.00pm KO, the day after the Forest game, good ale [we even sell Desperado's, good food [pie, peas and gravy] and good company, we are hoping for a decent size crowd for this one, so if you're doing nowt get down to Athy Colls for a football feast for only a fiver. :good: :drinks:

Chorley won 5 4 first game of the season last night at Stockbridge, Sheffield. Moved from saturday due to cricket match today.

Athy Colls had a great win today, 5-1 away at Holker, to make the day a bit betterer, Oldham Boro [who play at Colls] beat Atherton LR 1-0, happy days

BUMP

Great win for the Colls yesterday, we wnet 1-0 down with a really bizarre own goal, we got a penalty to level it then we scored a great winner near the end, Sheffield FC [oldest club in Britain] or Abbey Hey in next round.

Colls lost 4-2 at home to Ashton Town in th eFA Vase, their first 3 goals were - 18 seconds, 4 minutes and 9 minutes, pulled 2 back then the wanker of a ref gave them a penalty near the end.

Next week is the much awaited game at either Sheffield FC or Abbey Hey in the 2nd FA Cup qualifier, they play on Tuesday, come on Sheffield

how are chorley getting on?

Think I saw that they won 1-0 yesterday. Im thinking I might go watch em v FC united when we have Brighton away.

Deffo be going that one, i hope its Sheffield, it will be miles better than the back streets of Gorton.

9 points from 5 games.

4 adrift of top spot.

I'm gutted, Abbey Hey beat Sheffield tonight, which means instead of a 'glamour' tie at the world's oldest football club we get a day in Gorton on Saturday in the second preliminary round of the FA Cup

Will be in a couple of pubs on Hyde Road on the Holt's to pluck up some courage to walk through that shite estate before the match.

I think Colls are organising a couple of mini buses or a coach, I'll find out tomorrow night at D & D
