February 14, 201115 yr I really couldn't go a koala; not even curried Edited February 14, 201115 yr by boltondiver
February 15, 201115 yr Any sea food makes me vomit. Caught some young asian lads catching pigeons on the park once, told us they were for their Uncles Restaurant, so I'm betting most of us have had pigeon curry.
February 15, 201115 yr Lad at work had a trip to China a bit back and in th'hotel at breakfast he found this big hollowed out melon thing filled with what he assumed was a sort of gazpacho veggie soup type thing. So he wolfs it down only to be told, just as he was finishing, that it was frogs ovaries..... And given that there are cat lovers on this board I wont tell you his cat story. For me, well reindeer can fuck off. Them bastards gave me the fucking shits north of th'Arctic Circle with a 3 hour coach trip in Finland back to where we were based to follow Northern Lights? Northern Shites
February 15, 201115 yr Any sea food makes me vomit. Reminds me of when I lived in Southampton and in some of the boozers at various times of the week you'd get geezers coming round selling today's fresh catch of shellfish/seafood type stuff. Fresh as fuck it was, but being allergic to it I'd avoid it like the plague unless, of course, I was bladdered, in which case I'd stuff a load of it down me neck and then wake up in a puddle of puke at half 3....with bits of shrimp dribbling out my mouth
February 15, 201115 yr I eat seafood/fish in almost every meal so I'm surprised by the animosity towards crustaceans on here. Anyhow, I'd advise Smiffs not to use M6 up Preston way for the next few months. Every night I sees a wagon coming down packed with sheep/lambs in. I rarely at meat these days so it's getting me quite upset to be honest.
February 15, 201115 yr Stop giving reinder / cows / sheep / lamb / anything else nasty / cuddly / cute & most of all edible the attribute of human intelligence*. They're lower down the food chain than homo sapien for a reason. They wouldn't be bred otherwise. *Obviously more intelligent than a number of posters on here though.

Most people like it, and I've told myself it's irrational and forced myself to eat a prawn/shrimp/mussel/squid every now and again. I have thrown up every time. I can eat some fish though, so it's not all seafood. My animal of choice is pig, then chicken, then cow. Agree about lamb though, but only because it gets stuck between your teeth.

Once attended a collision on the M6 near Wigan where a mini-bus of Indian wedding guests were killed.
February 16, 201115 yr I even walk through ashburner street fish market wishing I could afford to buy all the live crabs and lobsters so I could go and dump them all back in the sea. That said, if we were supposed to be veggies meat wouldn't taste so bloody good. Blue Unction will kill all forms of mechanical dandruff.
February 16, 201115 yr Prawns are nice, but without that yucky Prawn Cocktail. I've had Crab not many times, but it's good on a baguette. I could never eat a sea turtle, octopus or a crocodile
February 16, 201115 yr I don't know who told you that, as they're vile. I think CWP can back me up on this. Sea Slug is without a doubt in my top 3 worst things ever tasted. I had that on my first visit to China, more recently I had Sea Cucumber which was equally revolting, I'm still not sure if they are the same type of animal or not though, either way, they taste bad. Reindeer, as mentioned above is a lovely meat, and I often ask my mate to bring me some over from Norway when he visits. I epseically like the dried type that is similar to beefy jerky. Without doubt, my favourite sort of food is definitely seafood (with the exception of the two mentions above) - Crab is generally my favourite, but you have to be careful with some of them as there are some strange tasting ones, Spider Crabs are fantastic though and without doubt my favourite. On my travels I've eaten all sorts that I know of, and probably all sorts that I'm not aware of. I knowingly ate dog a few years back in Hong Kong, and it wasn't too bad if I'm honest. So all in all, I don't think there is any food stuff that I wouldn't at least try
February 16, 201115 yr I could never eat a sea turtle, octopus or a crocodile Things like Octopus and Squid are nice, if cooked properly, the problem is they very rarely are. Crocodile is OK, but nothing special. I'm not sure many folk on here would have eaten a sea turtle, as they're pretty much a protected species
February 16, 201115 yr When I was in Zante, there was rumours that some turtles had been stolen, killed and sold. I honestly I don't know how people could eat a dog, but it's their choice, my main issue with it is the way the asian countries kill them, thinking torture makes them taste better. I've never been so angry and upset when I watched a video about it.

I've never been so angry and upset when I watched a video about it. To be honest, if you look at the way some animals are treated in this country so that folk can buy a chicken sandwhich for 99p from Tesco's it might make you quite angry. There's plenty of animal abuse carrying on in this country in the name of giving us cheap food, so don't think it's just "them foreigners"

It's probably a bit hypocritical but I feel no love for things in the sea (I dont buy farmed btw).
February 16, 201115 yr How about eating a monkey's brain whilst the animal is still alive? Apparently it tastes like scrambled egg.
February 16, 201115 yr How about eating a monkey's brain whilst the animal is still alive? Apparently it tastes like scrambled egg. I have never witnessed it on my travels as I think I usually deal with civilised people, maybe CWP has. Either way if I was in a restaurant where it occurred, I probably end up getting arrested.
February 16, 201115 yr How about eating a monkey's brain whilst the animal is still alive? Apparently it tastes like scrambled egg. I don't see why I wouldn't give it a go, but I would hope the animal would have had it's vocal chords ripped out, as the screaming might put me off a bit (althoughI doubt it would scream for very long). I certainly wouldn't order it, but if presented with, then why not Edited February 16, 201115 yr by CWP
February 16, 201115 yr eggs need salt n pepper and a blob of country life, so im guessing brain does too?
February 16, 201115 yr Why not just have scrambled eggs then? Although I suppose the monkey option cuts down on washing up.
February 16, 201115 yr Apparently the monkey's head pops through a hole in the table and you scoop the brains out that way. Deviants amongst you might ask for a blow job from the convulsing monkey at the same time.
