Warbies thick cut at it's freshest is like eating little bits of cloud - it cannot be beaten

 

The extra thick is fantastic for toast but you only get about 4 slices per loaf.I'm sure they still do it....green packaging?

Which is why I liked the thick & thin. Thick for toast & thin for sandwiches. Take 2 loaves into the breadbin? No thanks one'll do.

I went on a guided tour of Warbies a bit back. I worked there when I was a student, donkey's years ago, and there were about 100 people employed in the bakery.

 

Now there are 22, due to the computerisation and mechanisation. Even putting the loaves in trays and then stacking them is done by machine. It's all highly impressive.

 

It's a shame that the bread is absolutely shite.

We have some Warbies milk roll in cupboard, I was like what the fuck is this, made a quick sandwich and it's alreet, didn't really taste any milk though.

Warbies is the only bread I have found that can deal with the rigours of the Bolton palate.

 

Other loaves falls to bits if you stick half a meat and potato pie in it. Warbies keeps it's tensile strength amd can even handle chips peas and gravy without breakage.

Spot on. There isn't many things better than puddin, chips, peas and gravy, with a few slices of buttered warbies medium loaf.
