Warbies

Featured Replies

Changed the packaging on toastie loaf, terrible design.

Do they still do thick & thin? I don't seem to be able to find it anywhere.

I'd rather eat cardboard.

I tend to find their bread a bit doughy and almost taste under cooked, so haven't eaten it for several years.

A quick search, it appears this is no longer on the Market was there ever one side which didn't get eaten more than the other?

Bloody awful design!

Their medium now looks like a bag of flour and thei rtoastie looks as if it should have Happy Shopper written on it.

Thought this was going to be a thread about the old Bolton firm what stood on the embankment in the 60s.

i dont really like any other bread to be honest.

warbies always taste fresh (obviously additiives) whereas every other loaf tastes days old imo.

warbies farmhouse, cant beat it!

and no other bread stays fluffy inside when toasted like warbies. :good:

but fuck me, this may stop be buying it on principle!

I noticed it at the weekend and thought 'what fucking muck is this in my cupboard - get out'.

Thumbs down from me.

Warbies is crackin bread, only if its proper fresh mind, after 2 days, its binned, I buy more !

Why would new packaging stop you buying it? it's not like it'll change the taste.

and there we have it

millions of marketing wankers empty their desks and look for a real job

I've just been down the shop.

It's one pound and thirty five fucking pence for a loaf!!!!

I'm not a millionaire or owt, but I never have to buy the bread so was utterly unaware of the price.

I'd have said 70 new pence at the absolute most.

I'm going to start eating the crusts too.

Goes soft as shit when you put butter on and tastes chewy. Much prefer it to be crispy and soft in the middle!

I like how they've done a drawing of wheat on it so we know what it's made of. Brilliant marketing that. :good:

I like tiger bread a lot

Rathbones toasty fresh on the day is better than Warbies. Considering it's the market leader it's a awful design, it looks cheap considering it's dear as fuck. People like a nice traditional look.

All the vans are beimg re-done too

I think ive tried most brands of bread over the years but I always go back to warbies in the end :)

Tesco'e seeded tinloaf :good: beautiful

I make my own - but then again I am a clever cunt....

I make my own - but then again I am a tight cunt....

Might just be me, but I'm sure the slices are getting thinner. More Medium now than Toastie.

What happened to the 'Thickest' loaf they did?
