Worse than the play off?

Edited by superjohnmcginlay

I went, but it was actually on the 23rd October.

Was going to go, but got flu.

Sat at home watching TV ..... saw score go to 0-3 & watched a film till end of match.

Went through roof when I saw final score, flu or no flu.

It was the second time I'd been to an away game where we were 3-0 up and lost, Chelsae being the other about 15 years previously

It would be ironic if we went three up and lost on Saturday now !

I bet we would laugh our socks off!

Started walking out when they got the Penalty at 3-3, couldn;t face watching us lose after being 3-0 up

Gutted

Spent the afternoon happily hanging and paiting a new outside shithouse (shed) door at my Nans.

By 4.50 it had been 'removed'.

I went & remember seeing a group of Bolton lads all in wedding suits who looked like they'd come straight from the wedding - All very pissed off, especially as they'd only arrived for the 2nd half. Not sure if the groom was there......although......start as you mean to go on.

I was there. Couldn't believe it. The other time, away at Chelsea, I was at home listening on the wireless.

No - the playoff was just shite, and meant a lot. To be perfectly honest once they'd got back to 3-3 I was kind of hoping they'd nick it just so I'd be able to say I'd witnessed such a debacle :pardon: In for a penny, in for a pound and all that

Edit - and anyhow, I was battered :drinks:

Because it was cheaper the Ant Hill Mob tryed to get in to the Watford end at that match. All succeeded apart from me. At the turnstile I happend to bump into PC Roscoe who was the plod from Bolton who 'spotted' Boltons hardcore hoolies. He rememberd me from Rotherham a few months before when I got thrown in the pokey for being slightly inebriated.

Undies still no criminal record.

I there with Scoobydoo (username that is, I wasn't on LSD)

Was that the one where you got thrown out of the same game twice or summat

That was Walsall - Hardcore me. The Rotherham match I didn't even get into the ground :drinks:

Yep, it was my birthday, at least it was until the last 25 minutes. All the joy and pain of being a Bolton fan encapsulated in one 90 minute period. Travelled up with the London Whites, then got completely lost on the way home and somehow ended up at Bushey.

was the quietest car journey home, till birmingham when we got stuck into the keg.

Ah yes, Bushey. Fully desereved that nickname, but what was she really called again :pardon:

Kate. She took me to Wuthering Heights....

I was there, and I don't think all four of us in the car spoke a word on way back till Birmingham. There were free newspapers all over the place as I recall. Now I'm off to google earth to find that little pub we were in with a tiny tap room.
