Hammering In The Nails

Quite apart from wanting to win the FA Cup, one of my big hopes for this season is that we win our games at Ewood Park and Bloomfield Road and play a significant part in sending both clubs down. There's nothing I'd like better than the triple crown - Wigan, Blackburn and Blackpool all relegated.

Vindictive? I think not. All three clubs take great pleasure in victories over us and defeats against any of the Lancashire town clubs get me down more than most things as a Wanderers fan.

Any views?

For what its worth, I bet we get rolled over in at least one of those games given our generally mediocre record in Lancashire derby matches.

I hope Blackpool stay up and would happily lose at Bloomfield Road if we were safe by then and it guaranteed their survival. It will be easier for Bolton to stay up next season if Blackpool are in the Premier League.

Agree on Blackburn and Wigan.IF I could choose one to go down it would be Wigan but I think they will stay up.

I know what you are saying Paul it's always good to see local rivals beaten BUT if they went down we would lose those derby games and with QPR and some other southern teams coming up, we'd have to travel further to get to games.

Keep it northern that's what I'd say :good:

I am with Paul on this one. I would love to see all three crash and burn.

They have all delighted in our misfortune in the past. I look forward to paying back in kind.

Wouldn't mind Villa to drop

But, if you happen to be over here for any game, home or away, you will find the maximum travel of a couple of hundred miles a slight detour, I am on HW's side. I'd prefer as many North west teams as possible to be in the Prem. It makes away travel cheaper.

It also pisses the London media off that there are more NW teams than London. Especially if we can see the back of WHU.

Tough question this one....i would not want us to lose to Blackpool ..no way :nea:. ..i don't think they'll go down anyway... If i was to choose a team that it wouldn't bother me if they went down ,it would have to be Wigan.. i just can't stand them. ... i know they're in the premierleague on merit but they have no history and no real fan base. ( 60 fans went to support them recently at an away match at Spurs..says it all) This is just my own opinion of course :) and i know they're based in the north-west etc but i for one would not miss them... I personally would like to see Preston and Burnley come back up instead .

The fatal flaw in all this is the fact that it would mean West Ham, Aston Villa and Birmingham City staying up.

And for that reason I am out.

I tend to agree with Happy, but I would like to see Blackburn relegated if only to piss those grubby owners off.

I wouldn't mind Blackburn and Wigan going down, we might even pick up a few floating supporters. I'd like to see Blackpool stay up, they hate us with a passion and that always adds a bit of spice to a derby. Blackburn and Wigan are too apathetic to hate anyone.

I want west ham wolves and wigan gone

I cant say the letter w'er

i want wigin go down, and i'd prefer blackburn to stay up just because i love that game but if they did go down then i wouldnt lose any sleep over it

Blackburn, Brum and Villa dropping would be lovely, thank you please.

Blackburn, West Ham and Villa for me :good:

I'd go with that. Get Blackburn down before the chicken money gets spent. Wigan can go the year after.

If i could choose a team it would be Stoke but they look pretty safe now.

Villa going down would be hilarious.

i want everton to go down, they are right in it, and the ball was over the line, cheating cunts!

Pablo, do one.

Now then, what is all this West Ham down old b0llocks? FFS, I cant think of any club against which we have such regular success. FFS, keep them up! Is it only me that sees this?

yes, its obvious, yous a tad out of touch with football these days, next time you come up, stay a bit longer!

Personally i wouldnt mind the odd midland club down, rat hole

After watching this weekends highlights, Villa and Newcastle look like they are on the beach already...those two plus one of the W's

Villa for me

Who remembers them singing "We'll meet again, don't know where don't know when....but i know we'll meet again some sunny day" to us as we were relegated a few years back?

Payback time :D
