Just heard about a Bolton fan who quit his job so he could make the semi final.

asylum seeker ???

Lost a few jobs watching Bolton. Was well worth it fucking off early from Chester and driving to Hull that Friday night.

Years back when I was daft I got my mate to bash my finger in with a brick so that I could have time off work so that I could attend a midweek fixture at Swansea - I didn't really think that one through.

When I used to work for a major telecoms company we had to sign on and off work via our laptops. I was conveniently in the Reebok car park on match days to sign off work and I used to work around in the South Cheshire area.

Fair play to him, when I was living abroad when it was the coca cola cup final I nearly did the same

asylum seeker ???

Fair point what I meant was

Some people will not agree but I am of the opinion that if your club meant anything to you, then you would not bother moving half way across the world to live and thus being unable to watch the games in person.

Bolty has already said he's incomunicado for a week or two.

Someone better keep bumping this one otherwise he'll miss it.

That is bollocks. People move for an array of reasons. I would speculate that one would be the better quality of life in Australia for self and family. Is going to the football really a substitute for that?

Alas, I would literally move anywhere on this dear Earth if the price was right. I'm waiting for Libya to calm down and the Oil majors to move in. :good:

WAIT FOR IT, WAIT FOR IT!

No point yet.
