wot about that kebe from reading he looks a good un not quite sure which wing he plays on but he,s quality.got pace and trickery and can cross a ball . not sure reading would let him go tho . but his wages would'nt (or should i say should'nt be a problem )

Kightly is 25 and has a horrendous injury record. He clearly has ability, but he's not been fit in 2 years.

 

Realistic signings who would benefit us:

Tomkins arrived on the scene to rave reviews and then lost his way, along with the entire West Ham defence. He's a kid and he needs a stable team around him, but he's talented. Upson offers him nothing, nor does Green; both are accident-prone and neither leads well.

 

I still think Tomkins could be a good defender. He's fast, pretty strong, tackles well and has good distribution. He just needs the right coaching and partner.

Tomkins is gash! He is worse than Upson and that really does make him very very shit. I would not be happy if he was the man chosen to replace Cahill.

Most people agree with you, Eddie. I happen not to. He's certainly no worse than, for example, Wheater.
