ran the first 1.2 mile

 

followed by 10 minute on my back recovering

 

pretty much walked the rest

 

this ipod app really hits home the truth

I'm running on the wii. I dare not go out in public just yet! :blink:

 

P.S. The morning walk up Rivi with the dog is 1 mile and takes me 15/20, so Garpy, it's bad!

This is a good site/tool for anyone who goes running (and is slightly sad):

 

Map your run - Get distance and elevation etc.

 

It opens up on The U.S.A but well you know, you can draw your 'off-road' route by toggling the automatically/manually buttons (not sure which). You can also get URLs for your runs and show off to everyone.

I could do with loseing a few before I get wed nxt year, i fancy a marathon or more realistically a half marathon, which do people on here recommend or take part in? and is easy to get a place on?
