Norwich apparantly.

Missed a couple of sitters at the weekend..

And, at 27yrs old: hardly "one for the future"

It's interesting nobody rates the guy, when he has essentially the same attributes that everyone likes in KD. His work rate is phenomenal and he holds up the ball well. He even has enough of a leap on him for him to flick the ball on. He's not great in terms of touch and passing, but nor is KD. He's not got KD's power, but he's quicker.

I'm not a huge fan of his, but he seems like the sort of player who is suited to do a specific 'job'; rather than just a great player. KD has been great for us because he does the job we need him to do; CMS may be a similar sort of player for whomever he signs for.

Where do you get the impression "nobody rates him" ?

Where do you get the impression "nobody rates him" ?

I meant amongst Bolton fans. I can say "it seems like almost nobody rates him" if you like, but "nobody" doesn't have to include everyone. It's like saying "I've packed everything".....you haven't literally packed everything there is. Context gives meaning.

Let me say it another way. I am yet to hear from any Bolton fan who would see him as a positive signing and have heard many say they hope we don't want him.

Depends how much we would be paying for him, he is quick and can score goals albeit at a lower level so he would hardly be the worst signing in the world.

That is about as positive I can be about him but If I am honest, I would like to see us have a more proven target in mind but the worst thing we could do is pursue Sturridge all summer like we did with Wilshere and end up with Nobody.

Honestly, I couldn't think of many players who are further from Kevin Davies if I tried.

im absolutely baffled

well im not, you're clearly just a guesser

I'm not saying he's 'like' Davies, I'm saying he has the attributes we rate in Davies. The work rate, drive and running that we always raved about. He also lacks the technical attributes people moan that Davies doesn't have. Doyle is also unlike Davies, but people compare him to Davies due to work rate and willingness.

A "guesser"......cute.
