Traf
brand new proper laptop for ?259 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/250961 Homer: 1. Is that actually any good? 2. Your challenge is to find me a decent-ish PC for the same money. I need a new laptop and PC and have a limited budget.
Site Supporter HomerJay Posted June 30, 2011 Site Supporter Share Posted June 30, 2011 thats laptop does everything youd ever want really. just dont play the latest games. which i doubt youd do anyway. AMD Athlon Dual Core P340 2.2GHz 3GB RAM + 320GB HDD 15.6" LCD + DVD?RW Webcam + HDMI ATI Mobility Radeon HD4250 Free Webroot Internet Security Windows 7 Home Premium beleive it or not you couldnt buy equivelant pc for that money. most cheap pc's (they are are cheap pc's) come without monitor or windows. though you could install linux if your brave. (i dont recommend this) to be honest, i wouldnt dick about with cheap shit. buy a dell vostro 230 MT for ?245 delivered, ive just bought a load for work and they do a job. http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?reconfigure=true&vw=list&cart=ActiveCart&id=72330661-4d6e-4a38-b490-bee8fe956229&ecomm=ecomm.euro.dell.com&c=uk&l=en&cs=ukbsdt1 then buy a monitor of choice (but not from dell, this is where they make their money, along with all the little upgrades) 19" ?65 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/191755
Traf
I don't need a monitor, my current 24" is fine (plus I've a 32" LCDTV sat doing fuck all!) Currently using a DELL Vostro 400, that I've had a few years now.
