Wierd Drink Requests

The youngsters in the local drink Jagerbombs by the gallon and costs 'em a fortune.

Reminds me of a couple of months back when there was a group of us and typical of the northern lad in the group I stood up to get the first round in.

Ex-England striker I was with tells me he only ever drinks pink champagne, green tea or sparkling water. Naturally got him a sparkling water but what's wrong with a decent pint these days??

Any other odd drinks requested round your way?

Name and shame

A yank asked for a double tequila and coke where I work the other day, seemed a strange one.

lager top.

For fuckin tarts

Piss

Outside a bar in Munchengladbach, early afternoon after the monsoon, rough as fuck, everyone caning the Jagerbombs, some Hells Angel type trying to arrange an off, I enjoyed my milky coffee.

Mate of mine upon entering a pub orders with his first pint a glass of soda water as he says he is thirsty! Necks the water then starts on te ale. Soda water on it's own is rank.

Name and shame

Ricketts?

I just don't understand why people choose to drink sparkling water. With some pop in, fine. On it's own though?? Weirdos.

As a lad, when I worked in O'Leary's in town I'd regularly get some strange requests. A pint of 'golden' being one of them (half lager and half bitter). Also a pint of 'scruffy' (half Guinness and half cider).

The dirty bastards.

I like sparkling water.

Anyhow, anyone who drinks Ricard or Pernod has got issues.

I like sparkling water.

I just don't geddit. It's just, well, something that tastes of nowt but makes your tongue tingle. Is it all about the tingle? Maybe you should carry around small vials of vimto in your bum bag.

I know two people who have red wine and coke.

Ricketts?

Let's make it a quiz question???

Clue: Played 14 times for England but only scored on his debut

I have tried it & it wasn't as bad as I thought. When you think about it, Sangria is red wine & lemonade really.

Do I get a prize for being the cleverest?

Or even an extra one for knowing it was a hat trick?

Could stretch to a fizzy water ???

When I worked behind a bar this German lass used to ask for half a pint of lager half a pint of coke in a pint pot. Thought about pissing in it to teach her a lesson but that might have taken the edge off.

Golden is a fairly ordinary one. It's called all different things around the country though. There is a WWays contributor who drinks (or did a few years ago anyway) Guinness and lime
