I dont think 60k a week is bad! I thought they would have been talking 100+ given the current City hierachy and wages.

 

When SWP is playing regularly I think he is quality and would be a great addition to the team!

they also have to think that Petrov will be gone next year anyway at the end of his contract so with Chippy back it will balance out

Our first choice right winger is out for the season. I'd say SWP is a solution. He's a proven PL performer with a lot of England caps. I wouldn't say ?60k per week is unreasonable.

That would make no sense if you were talking about this season - hence my assumption you were talking about next season.

 

Mancini and Capello currently don't pick SWP because they believe they have better options in the likes of Adam Johnson, David Silva, Ashley Young, etc. No shame in that. We don't have anyone better than him at present, but I think you already knew that.

i think SWP is decent and id have him in the team immediatly (on the right, petrov on the left)

 

if petrov leaves next season, id be trying chungy or swp on the left. if it doesnt work swp can also play int he middle and possibly up front.

 

basically, if hes available and affordable, buy him.
