Some of them do rate him: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=280400.0

I think he is a good player and was burdened with leading the line for us when our forward options were limited.? He has great technique and a bit of pace.

He'll score goals for them.

Will be a good move for the lad, good luck to him.

i was a fan of Ngog, felt he never got a fair shot under Dalglish

All the best to him and I think he'll develop into a fine player when he has a good run of games.

I always thought that he could do well if played with a partner and got continuous games. I think he will flourish at Bolton and Bolton's play will suit him nicely. Had good memories of the lad and a very good professional.

I remember reading he had the best goals per minute record at the club up yntil last season (or it might have been the season before). The lad can finish and it's the other part of his game that need work.

On the topic of his goals. He has scored 16 goals in 37 starts.

Dont think thats correct from what I read his record read 19 from 97 games. Scousers I speak to think he is shit. From the little I have seen I think he has potential I just hope regular games will bring his game on.

"a new fullback, aye that would make or break our season."

"haven't we got 6 or 7 already "

"we should just keep buying right backs - ignore the injuries - we must spend money "

"and all other players must have the ability to play at fullback, just in case. "

I make a positive post and you jump on my one reservation. Who's the negative fooker here ?

I hope Boyata's up to the job.

Otherwise when Steinsson gets pulled out of position for the umpteenth time in a match, when Robbo's aging (for a Prem player) legs fail him again, when Alonso is away 'on duty' after his injury, when Ricketts returns from injury and proves he's no better defensively than Steinsson, when Mears proves not to be tha answer to any defensive question we have, and when Riley proves to be not quite ready for the job fuil time ......... think on.
