Theboybell Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 And thats why Liverpool have thrown a shit load of money at the team this year, missed out last year cant afford to do it 2 year's running, now if they do they could be on the slippey slope like Leeds, or is that just me hoping I'm a Bolton fan and I couldn't give a flying what kind of slope arsenal, Liverpool, spurs or anyone else for that matter! JSL
DazBob Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I'm a Bolton fan and I couldn't give a flying what kind of slope arsenal, Liverpool, spurs or anyone else for that matter! JSL So you gain no pleasure out of others' misery? You're a much better person than me then.
tyldesley_white Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I'm a Bolton fan and I couldn't give a flying what kind of slope arsenal, Liverpool, spurs or anyone else for that matter! JSL Me too, but some get fucking upset when we get turned over by the said same teams, the only level play field we are on is the pitch we play on , the rest is so unbalanced that I think its become a joke, you've got teams that will spunk 100's of millions of pounds on players and there wages then you have the rest who are trying (it some cases not too well) to try and balance the books
Smiley Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 N'Gog isn't rated by Liverpool fans. Just hope he proves them wrong.
paulhanley Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Ngog Pratley Reo-Coker Chris Eagles Tyrone Mears Tuncay Dedryck Boyata Kakuta I make that a net spend of about -450k add in loan fees and i reckon we are about level massively reduced wage bill much younger and improved squad really, really impressed we have one seriosuly good squad Agree with this, well said. Good, shrewd management.
frank_spencer Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 N'Gog isn't rated by Liverpool fans. Just hope he proves them wrong. those I've spoken to seem to think given a run of games he'll come good.
SpiritofBurnden Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 N'Gog isn't rated by Liverpool fans. Just hope he proves them wrong. Some of them do rate him: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=280400.0 I think he is a good player and was burdened with leading the line for us when our forward options were limited.? He has great technique and a bit of pace. He'll score goals for them. Will be a good move for the lad, good luck to him. i was a fan of Ngog, felt he never got a fair shot under Dalglish All the best to him and I think he'll develop into a fine player when he has a good run of games. I always thought that he could do well if played with a partner and got continuous games. I think he will flourish at Bolton and Bolton's play will suit him nicely. Had good memories of the lad and a very good professional. I remember reading he had the best goals per minute record at the club up yntil last season (or it might have been the season before). The lad can finish and it's the other part of his game that need work. On the topic of his goals. He has scored 16 goals in 37 starts.
HomerJay Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 He's only 22 I think it could turn out to be a cracking signing at 4m
Theboybell Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 He's only 22 I think it could turn out to be a cracking signing at 4m Didn't Liverpool think that when they signed him for ?1.5 million? ( for the record I hope he does just couldn't help but respond)
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Didn't Liverpool think that when they signed him for ?1.5 million? ( for the record I hope he does just couldn't help but respond) He was a cracking signing for them. He got them some goals, including some very important ones, was a decent backup to Torres when he was out, was professional at all times and netted them a tidy profit when they sold him on...
Zico Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 N'Gog isn't rated by Liverpool fans. Just hope he proves them wrong. neither was Diouf guess not being good enough/fitting in at Liverpool doesn't mean he won't be any good anywhere else TBF though he was competing for places with Torres (when he was good and could score goals)
HomerJay Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 mereiles couldnt get a game under king kuntface. what him turn out to be a superstar at chelsea.
Rembrandt Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Not totally impressed with the signings - but they may turn out well. And I'd rather have had another full-back. BUT ..... ..... given OC didn't have money to spend, and the Cahill move stalled, they've done brilliantly to generate some funds to make those additions. Hope it works out.
enzo gambaro Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I'd rather have had another full-back. Aye, I think you mentioned once or twice. Anyone in particular?
HomerJay Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 a new fullback, aye that would make or break our season.
Garrp Posted September 2, 2011 Author Posted September 2, 2011 haven't we got 6 or 7 already we should just keep buying right backs ignore the injuries we must spend money
HomerJay Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 and all other players must have the ability to play at fullback, just in case.
Zico Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 mereiles couldnt get a game under king kuntface. what him turn out to be a superstar at chelsea. he, er, scored 5 in 6 at the start of Dalgleish's reign and won PFA player of the year played over 30 games last season too as you were
DazBob Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 and won PFA player of the year Did he? He does seem to have fallen out of favour this season though since Henderson was brought in... which is odd as, like you say, he was awesome last season.
