Doddy's joke was that he took a violin into the tax office and said Hows that for a tax fiddle.

We (HMP) used to run the Crown Courts and I was a dock officer during Doddy's trial, the man was pure comedy genius while he was in the dock, but as has been said, there's no way was he being convicted by his own.
