December 27, 201114 yr head a rumour today that Coyle has already tendered his resignation and been refused... albeit from a man in a pub.. so dont know how true it is.. I also heard this from a man in a pub, must be true if both of us have heard it.
December 27, 201114 yr Author I also heard this from a man in a pub, must be true if both of us have heard it. If it is true then he is to be commended. It isn't everyday that managers offer to turn their back on a huge compensatory package for the sake of the club. If it's true and it was rejected (managers can walk out when they like - rejected doesn't mean they won't allow him to leave, it means they've asked him to stay as that's what they want) then Gartside is a buffoon. Thanks for reading, Gloria.

December 28, 201114 yr thanks for bleeding. I was saving that one Micky - in the hope that a 'cleansing agent' caught up with the gormless little irk. Shouldn't a spotty little teenager like him be trawling porn sites or summat instead of being an annoying cunt?

He'll be back at school next week

December 28, 201114 yr Pah the bully probably does cyberbullying not like in my day you get twatted....... then I twatted the fecker back
December 29, 201114 yr Pah the bully probably does cyberbullying not like in my day you get twatted....... then I twatted the fecker back Funny thing innit? Even if the fcuker towered over you, hit back and they rarely bothered bullying you again. Worth getting smacked senseless once.
December 29, 201114 yr So our Owen wouldn't drop down a division eh? All he has to do is sit tight for 6 months and he'll be there anyway. He took over a ready made team and gradually fuc#ed it up by "vanity" purchases like Blake,Eagles,Pratley,Reo Coker,Ngog and Tuncay. He has stuck by loafers like Petrov and Knight and done nothing to replace the goals of Sturridge. He points to the various injuries (only Chung-Yong and Holden are really hurting us) and falls out with his coaches in public. The club has debts in excess of the value of the assets of it's major majority shareholder and Cahill will be sold for a song next month. 12 players are out of contract at the end of June. Kevin Davies, as near Mr Bolton as you get these days has a face that does not fit and that says it all for me. There is a lot of loyalty to Coyle as a former player(I can vividly remember the blue and red shirts, the Co-op wall and the 2 goals against Gretna) but there comes a time when the club has to come first. It is now too late to bag him off for this window so we are stuck with him until the hard landing in May.
December 29, 201114 yr GOIB, I think the recent dropping of Davies is one of the few things OC's actually got right.

Did it ever occur to you there might be a connection between the first point and the second? Getting ?7M for Cahill is good business so close to the end of his contract. I notice you don't give Coyle any credit for bringing in Sturridge in the first place, or for signing Wilshire. As for this 'ready-made team', it included 'loafers' like Knight and players such as Robinson, Steinsson and Elmander.
December 29, 201114 yr Full credit for getting players in so they can go back to their own clubs and kick on, which doesn't help us one bit in the long term. Well done owen! Bravo. Fucking genius.

Perhaps we should have signed them permanently then and added another ?30M+ to the debt. Fucking genius.
December 29, 201114 yr Neither were for sale so that's a pointless argument. If we had signed them we'd be sat on the core of the future England team, fuck the debt, you'd be able to clear it. But we didn't, so we can't and we still have 10 points and are going down. Is it that complicated or are you Owen Coyle's fat brother-in-law?
December 29, 201114 yr The loans were never the problem. The real problem is getting better loanees season after season. We've seen that in spite of wilshire's success; fall out with Wenger and there's another avenue dried up. Chelsea must think we've worked wonders with Sturridge. so much so, they sent us a player that couldn't even make our team. Maybe in the hope we can change him into a wonder-player. Maybe, just maybe, we need to start looking at once decent players ending their careers with us. after all, our best seasons to watch have included some bloody good has-beens.

So what exactly is your point then numb nuts? If we could afford players like that, we'd have signed them, but he got ?7M to spend, so who were you expecting?

December 29, 201114 yr So what exactly is your point then numb nuts? If we could afford players like that, we'd have signed them, but he got ?7M to spend, so who were you expecting? Woo, we've moved onto insults now. I take it you've been on the spirits again. The other option of course is building our own team rather than plugging holes temporarily. That doesn't necessarily cost ??? but when he hasn't got a fucking clue what his strongest XI is and when players are in and out that much they feel like they are doing the hokey cokey, we can always of course blame the debt. He can have credit for taking us down with a load of spineless shithouses who've been embarrassed by the expensively assembled teams of Norwich and Swansea if that makes you feel better?
