The game though was Southend away on the previous Tuesday night. It could have been Millwall too but i dont remember queues at the ground when setting off for that one. The look of "Where the fuck are you lot going"? on the peoples faces.
February 9, 201214 yr It was a Sunday afternoon live on ITV We only took about 5-600. Won 1-0 I was there with my Dad and the Gumbos I went & a fair few never made it up to the seats, as it was on telly ont concourse. Made me chuckle when it was on ITV anyway, travelling all that way on a Sunday to watch it on a wee telly.

Google London midland great escape - pick a day then put your name in and you can print off a voucher that gives ?15 return on any London midland Journey, which I think/hope includes Liverpool to London. Have to buy your ticket from one of their stations so won't find out until I get to lime street on the morning, but can't refuse for the price

We had vouchers for something like this for the Flum cup game last season & they turned out to be useless. The vouchers were only valid on London Midland trains but when we checked , all the trains to that London were operated by Virgin. I'd double check it.

February 9, 201214 yr No trains down Crewe to London? We werliking ing at trying that.... All Virgin trains around Crewe, it has to be a London Midlands train and they have about 3 a day running to and from London terminating all over the place in between. Looking a bit pricey this train lark, thought we'd found a bargain, getting down there seems ok, it's just getting back is the nightmare.
