did he get it wrong, or was that down the players and media?

i honestly cant remeber...

For all his good experience as a manager, he had nil experience of tournaments, and the special needs thereof.

so he's now put forward a man found guilty of tax fraud and another investigated and accused by panorama of taking bungs as a better alternative to the bent redknapp

Is Redknapp's record really that good?

When Portsmouth won the FA Cup in 08, They were only playing Cardiff in the final and West Brom in the semis.

The only reason Spurs are where they are at the moment is because Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are having a poor season.

Alan Pardew anyone?

I'd respond if I didn't think it would be followed up with a post containing the words "whopper" and/or "keep net"

Look, you don't give a manager a PL job as his first managerial role - he works his way up to it.

So we need someone who has worked his way "up" at international level via managing international teams at ostensibly lower levels than the England job, and who is English. Who fits that bill? Roy Hodgson.

What a load of shite. They were in the bottom three when he took over. He's built them into a team that has already qualified for the Champions League once and reached the quarter-finals at their first attempt.
