Juan.Kerr Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I think he wants a good talking to. Final written warning sort of thing. And part of the talking to should go, "Owen, pick Muamba when you need someone to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in". Quote
Tipster Ste Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 He bangs on about playing footy the right way, Wigan played us off the park yesterday. Norwich/Swansea have both come up and play better football on a budget a fraction of our wages. He's had 2 years to mould his own team. We've won around 6 points all year playing 442 yet coyle reverts back to it!! Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 "...Deserve's got nothing to do with it." Quote
athywhite1958 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 We beat Wigan earlier in the season without Muamba and a midfield/attack comprising Eagles,Petrov,Reo-coker,Pratley,Ngog and Kevin Davies. The only change from when we beat Wigan is Mark Davies for Pratley yet Coyle should be sacked. It makes you laugh. It'll be "We're on the march with Owen's army " next week if we win at Millwall. You're either a knob or a stupid cow Quote
Butterfly Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 You're either a knob or a stupid cow You might as well not bother as waste your time posting trash like that. Quote
tylswhite Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Saturday confirmed that he is absolutley clueless. He got a second chance when 4-5-1 came about now he is just taking this piss. He is so fucking stupid i could strangle the cunt. If we had of won on Saturday we could of been in a very good position now but instead we are right in the thick of it with a fucking fairy in charge. Not looking good unless he goes. Quote
bedwetter2 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I don't usually comment on games when I was not in attendance. However, as a number of people have commented, seeing the saturday teamsheet just brought home to me the utter stupid pig-headedness of the man. Attendance at games has become a depressing chore to me this season and I'm glad I couldn't go on Saturday. I feel for the supporters who went. Anyway, this game has shown Coyle up for the fool he is. I hope (but I'm not encouraged) that this has finally concentrated the minds of PG and ED to ask searching questions. Not "is everything ok Owen?" but a detailed examination of statistics, independent assessment of dressing room attitudes and coaching effectiveness. If he doesn't walk after that, he would have to be sacked. Quote
Sir_Francis Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Dont worry boys. We will stay up this season. Just. And next season we will have chungy and stu back as well as a new striker. All will be forgotten. THINK POSITIVE CASINO!! AKA MR PESSIMIST Quote
Durks of Langho Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I am still angry about Saturday and I am convinced that OC is inept as a manager. Quote
Casino Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 i'm sure if you look through my posts, you'll see that i'm quite optimistic plenty who would keep him have us going down we've every chance of staying up if he stops fcuking about i just think we'd have more chance with ray charles in charge and just staying up aint good enough, imo Quote
ZiggyStardust Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 those who voted "no" Why? Because we don't know the reasons for the Omission of Muamba/switch to 442 IF (and its a bloody big if) if it was tactical, then he's doing what most on here was calling for earlier in the season (451 away, and at home against the better teams, 442 against the weaker ones). IF it was discinplinary, I wouldn't want a manger who will put an individual player above the club (Would you want to be one of the players whose manager tels you he feels you aint good enough to beat Wigan if Muamba doesn't play?) I was as gutted as anyone when I heard the line-up, but I aint going to call for his head without at least hearing the thinking behind it. BTW - I thought he should have gone before the window opened, so I'm not necessarily a Coyle lovechild. Quote
