We Will Beat Stoke...

I, like most others, have ranted raved and shouted almost every expletive since the game finished... I am not defending OC, I think he is tactically naive and not enough experience to take us where we want to be, but we have characters in that dressing room who can and will stand up and be counted next week against Stoke.

Funny old game, but we are a better side away fr home at the moment and a stoke mate of mine points out they are the lowest scorers in the whole football league... They are negative, even at home, already seem on holiday and feeling the effects of a Europa league season...

The Brit is a tough place to go for any side but to go knowing your contract, premier league career, reputation all depends on it is something that will work in our favour !

Maybe I am just being too optimistic and if we do drop then I will accept we weren't good enough but until then it is still possible...

Today has gone, lets move on to next week and save our energy from moaning until then..

Come on !!!!!!!!!!!

Eagles is generally a championship player but believes in his own ability, gives 100% and rarely goes missing   He is also our most likely threat of a goal currently, which isn't saying much tbf

I agree with your sentiment, but I'm not sure the players worry about their reputation/career/contract as maybe they used to. They'll still be earning upwards of ?500K per year no matter what happens

Not as long as I have a hole ...........

Like your optimism; but your fcukin deluded if you think these cnuts will roll the sleeves up & win there!!!

With that midfield the answer is no we won`t beat Stoke.

Our players are good enough to get a result at Stoke, I really believe that.

BUT with Coyle in charge of the tactics/team/positions.

Nar, we're fucked.

Stoke 1 Arsenal 1 was their last home game - is that on the hols already

If we win it will be a monumental performance with a team thats absolutely crap at the moment

I cant see us doing it but I also wont give up

Are we close to getting the pitchforks out yet S?

I am going to take the lock off the shed in the morning and give them a dust down. The time may be now.

OK, in preperation, I'll nip up to Matalan in the morning and get some bed sheets, and then over to the newsagents for some felt tipped pens.

Whilst thinking on, I'd better get my grey marlers in the wash as well

Oh, I was hoping to borrow one of yours

I fear they'll be a bit baggy at the front for you You'll need to bob in for a pair of Umbro trainers anyway

If the Wigginers went down to Stoke last season and grabbed 3 points, why cant we.

I was thinking that, but I need your advice on a point..

Laces or Velcro?

Or save the decision and go with them jeans where the bottom of the trouser legs are elasticised

Edit: that makes no sense; I meant rather than the marl greys.....

Shit stoppers? Good call, then he can wear a pair of slip ons with them rather than buy new trainers.

Stoke's home record is the same as Sunderland's, and we probably should have won there.

The Evil voice inside my head says, that yes, we will beat Stoke yet QPR will beat citeh and the red filth win the league

same but with a city /qpr draw sending us down on gd

Good point, I don't need to wear socks then do I

Good point, I don't need to wear socks then do I

You do. I meant your pleather slip ons. You weren't thinking of Toms were you? You'd look a cock in them

Bad as it is now, if at Xmas, or after the Wigan home game, or a few other times this season I'd been offered the chance of staying up if we won at Stoke, I'd have taken the chance - I thought we'd already be down.

I'm not saying we'll win, I'm already fearing Coyle's tactical approach to a game we have to win -1gk,..9 wingers & Klasnic ??..- but at least we've still got a fighting chance.

I'm not even sure i'd want to swap positions with QPR, since they'll know that they're going to get nothing at City,( if they don't lose, they deserve to stay up ) while we at least have our fate in our own hands at Stoke.
