May 10, 201214 yr theres whinging and theres holding the country (general public) to ransom Can't say it's affected me in any way whatsoever today.
May 10, 201214 yr Folk want them to pay more in, do more work and accept less dosh at the end of it. Hardly surprising they are going to have a winge about it is it? Another way to look at it is they're asked to get in line with the rest of the working population. We'd all like more money and benefits to go with it but the pot is dry. Simple as that unfortunatley. Given the public sector has been largely devoid of the massive compulsory redundancies and pay cuts the real world has faced for the last 4 years (without strikes and disruption), I don't think its unreasonable to share some of the pain.

Not really, there have been redundancies within the public sector. But this wouldn't really fit in with your rhetoric. Anyone who describes the private sector as the real world needs to give their heads a wobble. I've had a bonus and a pay rise this year in the real world; but once again wouldn't really fit in with your particular worldview.

Regarding sharing out the pain - guess which public sector employees have shown no sign of giving up their final salary scheme?
May 10, 201214 yr Not really, there have been redundancies and big fukcin payoffs within the public sector. But this wouldn't really fit in with your rhetoric. I've had a bonus and a pay rise this year in the real world; but once again wouldn't really fit in with your particular worldview. EFA now i can only speak from experiences of people i know but one lad used to work for some goverment forensic science lab or something. he'd been there 5 years or so, starting on 19k straight from uni, and worked up to 35k in that time. he wasnt anything special (is own words), just one of the staff. they had to cut costs and only a couple of hundred at the time, but now theyve all gone. 800 or so. when they got rid, he got a lump sum of a years salary, tax free what the fukc is that about? private companies go in to admin, then liquidation when they are punching above their weight. those staff get statutory redundancy and if theyre really lucky, fuck all! May 10, 201214 yr Regarding sharing out the pain - guess which public sector employees have shown no sign of giving up their final salary scheme? Is it all of them?
May 10, 201214 yr Aye - which is a bit of a fucker n'est pas? I do agree, which is strange. I'm not one for do as I say not as I do. It doesn't make me feel any solidarity to the unions and strikers though just because the MPs are being cunts over their pensions.
May 10, 201214 yr i dont recall anyone saying that mp's werent the cunts of all public sector cunts anyway?

Not the sector which creates the wealth on which legions of public sector types exist. Crawley, you really are a dolt sometimes.

Or you could argue that the public sector exists to serve the private sector. They provide a service. Unfortunately, in providing that service, whatever service it may be, they don't have a bucket full of completed work with which to measure their productivity.

May 10, 201214 yr Efficiency is a measure. It may well be but at what point does some fucker decide enough is enough? No doubt when it's too late. A point the government departments woukd do well to note is that it's usually much safer to demolish something by starting ay the top rather than the bottom. If you do start at the bottom the top will come crashing down on top of you.

May 10, 201214 yr Oh deary me. Precisely. Start planning your agricultural revolution mate. It might come back in fashion one day.
May 10, 201214 yr Yep, that's exactly the point I was making. Again, well done. Thank you. I knew I would win in the end.
May 10, 201214 yr Indeed you did, I'm completely floored by your limited grasp once again. I have no come back to an irrelevant point poorly made I'm afraid.
