PG got lucky with the Allardyce appointment after the club had made Todd's positionb untenable.

After he appointed Lee and then Megson, I stated on here that he shouldn't be trusted again with making the appointments.

 

But he was, and we got Coyle.

The battering a pre-O'Neill Sunderland gave us in the 2nd half at our place.

Most fans wanted and were pleased when we got Coyle and for his first 18 months he looked a decent gaffer. In the end he got found out. REally who do people think we are going to get as manager? Guardiola? Mourinho? We never ever get a big name successful manager and never will.

We were going down in 2009/10 until Megson was sacked.His midfield was pisspoor, it was only the signing of Wilshire that kept us up that season.Unfortunately because of injuries and no miracle free transfer in January the midfield has been pisspoor all this season.

Was not enamoured with the appointment of BSA as at the time i worked with a bwfc fan who drank with him in a pub in Hawkshaw in the late 90's when he was at Notts.

 

He always said in that pub that he would improve bwfc's position given the same resources as Todd. He was correct as he did it on less. Did PG get lucky or was it just sheer pragmatism and not Fandom?
