methinks Benzema is a decent price of 16/1 to be leading goalscorer .

may have a little e.wayer on le frogs as well - not a bad set of players now when you go through the squad .

Frogs would be my shout as well apart from the obvious Spain. At 12's they're not a bad e/w shout to make the final, especially as I expect them to win our group, and therefore dodge the Spanish until the final.

Another interesting golden boot contender for me was Llorente at 17's, I know its mainly because he might not be the 1st choice striker for them, but looking at the other choices I think he's got a good a chance as any to start, and if he does start in that team then he is going to get the chances to score goals. As an aside their squad is frighteningly good!

france may have a good team on paper but their midfield is shocking, huge gaping holes teams will rip through the middle of them.

Back Van P / Spain in the WC and he didn't bother turning up.

I can't see past the Germans this year. Gomez for Golden Boot also

I reckon Didier Drogba will have to be in as a good shout for the golden boot, he's on a massive high at the minute and may well carry that into the Euros

That's what the Poles said in 1939.

good odds for both klose and ronaldo

Llorente's not a bad shout , in fairness.

Schoolboy error, you silly man. He won't be at the Euros.

He's out of contract and has no team to play for.

I'll have a fiver on him, then.

need a recount - changed my mind , after doing a bit of homework , turns out France arent the free scoring team i thought they were + seems to still be a bit of unrest in the camp .

i,m now firmly behind Klaas Jan Huntelaar - not in a gay way , but he seems decent value at approx 18,s .

Racing Post special tomorrow. 72 pages.

Don't be fucking stupid, Ivory Coast didn't qualify remember. Frankly, they could put a newsflash on saying the Isle of Wight had reached the final and I wouldn't turn over

what about ANDY CARROLL ?

and dose no one fancy us :unknw:

I'll give you 400/1

Torres scored in a Spanish 4-1 win over South Korea yesterday (Lee didn't play) I'd look at Holland and Germany strikers, but their group is very tough, don't think it'll see many goals.

Spain are the team to beat, they're expected to go all the way, if they do, Llorente and Torres are good shouts, if Pedro shows the form of the Copa Del Rey final, he could be up there, but with so many options, I wouldn't bank on him starting or getting enough opportunities to get the Golden Boot.

I fancy Russian Pavel Pogrebnyak to do well, was in good form for Fulham, though not sure if he'll start for 'em with Pavlyuchenko and Arshavin in the team too, both those two haven't done well of late though.

Reports seem to think it will be Kerzhakov up top with Arshavin and Dzagoev off him, so neither Pogrebnyak or Pav would play.

I actually think that this tournament could see Torres back to his best. He was just picking up some kind of form with Chelsea, although admittedly a long way off his Liverpool form, and would be playing in the best team on the planet with ample chances every game. It will only take one or two goals playing in that team and his confidence will come flowing back, if he starts then for me he could be a shout for Golden Boot, in fact personally I think anyone that takes the starting spot up top for Spain will win it.
