I will never understand this anti Murray stuff. Gives the best player ever a decent run having had the worst luck to play in an era with three all time greats, loses and the emotion of it gets to him

I don't think the debate is about how good he is, it's about people willing him towards defeat. I'm fucked if I know what it is about sadsacks in this country who cheer against their own. We've got fu

Very emotional this for him, feel for him.

i feel for him like he felt for england losing in the world cup, euro's etc............diddly squat..........end of

big fucking jock girl crying now

no man should cry in public

Why? should he just laugh it off and get in his monster truck and go twat some one like an hooligan macho prick?

You can't help emotion, he tried his best to stop crying, but what do you expect, nations hopes on his shoulders and he's lost and probably feels like he's let Britian down.

he lost on purpose so he doesn't have to do dance with the stunning 'ladies' champion

She appeared in the crowd. Then started pulling allsorts of faces. Daft bint.

I'm surprised she can with all that botox. They're probably muscle spasms.

No need to edit my post, he's British and Scottish. But more importantly a very good tennis player who was playing in a grand slam with home support, I doubt he cares what people on a Bolton forum think, he has his talent, his wealth and a good looking partner,

God 1

Mortal 0

Victoria was with her husband, who is friends with Murray.

You been taking your medication??

I'm with casino; the board simpleton is speaking sense

Great effort that by Murray...Fed is just too good. He won't be for much longer though, Murray just needs to stay on the coat tails of the other 2 and his time will come

There are some bitter, sour people around. And yet you all follow the England football national embarassment around like sheep.

I'd like to have seen the sweaty one win.

But that Swiss fella never seems to even change his expression. Looks like he comes from a planet where tennis is as natural as breathing.

I also bet on it being 3-1 after Traf's tip so am 30-odd quid richer. Therefore, I'm happy enough.

he has got talent undoubtedly. we all have talent, and unlike you,i have a very good looking partner. share his patriotism but not his wealth unfortunately.

i'm sure he'll be more upset about what his battleaxe of a mother thinks

What I'm saying is that he doesn't let people who hate on him effect his game, I'm sure he's seen/read people calling him miserable and that they hold a grudge for his jokey comment about the England football team.

It's like when C.Ronaldo winked after Rooney got sent off in WC2006, people still use that against him when commenting on his game, the way I see it is that people are quick to criticise than to appreciate.

"What do you think of Murray and C.Ronaldo?"

"Both cunts"

"What about their talent?"

"Both twats, my perceived judgement of their character will not allow me to say anything good about them"

He's one of the best in his sport and it doesn't matter what nationality he is, afterall John McGinlay was from Scotland wasn't he? and just because he's a male, he shouldn't show any emotion? well I did when Bolton got relegated and lost to Boro in Carling Cup final.

no one every remembers second son get that in your thick head

we always love the runner-up and always will. done it with boxing, athletics, football and now tennis. simple reason is we're not good enough.

saying murray was unlucky to have been born in an era of greats is a british excuse. he simply isn't good enough, and wouldn't have won wimbledon in the borg era, sampras era etc.

would the germans say ''we're unlucky'' or just get on with it and try to find a way of being the best ?

He is good enough though and his moment will come, he's got an equal record v Federer and today he was just beaten by a better performance, he could have gone out to Ferrer early on in the week and Federer was struggling I recall in a match.

He is good enough though and his moment will come, he's got an equal record v Federer and today he was just beaten by a better performance and yes a better player, but he's shown he can beat the best, all he's missing his a grand slam, which for him is very difficult when you have 3 players who are also great players.

they're greats for a reason. they produce the goods consistently and win many titles. they'll go down in history as greats,he sadly won't. just as a very good player,a bit barcelona compared to real madrid

4th in the world is a fantastic achievement, no matter the era

Indicative of a winner

i agree it's a fantastic achievement and he's a superb player, but to reiterate my earlier point,he won't go down in history as one of the all time greats

Can't disagree

He is certainly putting everything into being;

  • The best he can be
  • A Grand Slam winner

And that's all you can ask
