July 20, 201214 yr Twelve people have been killed and dozens injured after a shooting at a Batman film premiere in the US city of Denver http://www.bbc.co.uk...canada-18922685 what the fuck is up with this world? Edited July 20, 201214 yr by HomerJay
July 20, 201214 yr the most fucked up thing about this is that a 3 month baby was killed. why a 3 month old baby was at a midnight showing of batman, i have no idea. world is menkul
July 20, 201214 yr Has it died now? I thought it had just been injured. I must admit I did wonder myself what a 3 month old baby was doing there. It's bloody awful. Apparently people thought it was part of the film.
July 20, 201214 yr That is pretty much the argument that is raging across all the newspaper forums. They'll not learn though. It's their right apparently to carry a gun around willy nilly.
July 20, 201214 yr They'll not learn though. It's their right apparently to carry a gun around willy nilly. Can't they afford a holster? (and don't you think it's about time you gave it a more grown up name?) Edited July 20, 201214 yr by Big City Girl

July 20, 201214 yr Can't they afford a holster? (and don't you think it's about time you gave it a more grown up name?) Todger? It's these nutters though Daz that are spoiling it for everyone else who's normal and wants to carry a gun.
July 20, 201214 yr Todger? It's these nutters though Daz that are spoiling it for everyone else who's normal and wants to carry a gun. Yes but whats normal about carrying a gun?
July 20, 201214 yr People shoot people everywhere, just scum, unless it's a war or police taking down a criminal.who's got someone hostage. Edited July 20, 201214 yr by Didledee
July 20, 201214 yr People shoot people everywhere, just scum, unless it's a war or police taking down a criminal.who's got someone hostage. Not that many countries have it in their rules and regulations that all "men" have the right to carry one though.
July 20, 201214 yr If people want a gun for bad things, they'll get one, if they banned guns over there, you'd think crime would go down, but I bet it'd be worse and see more of that underground drug/weapon stuff. Why people need a gun for none illegal stuff is a bit weird though, why and for what, self defence, man points, killing game, shooting targets for fun.
July 20, 201214 yr Not that many countries have it in their rules and regulations that all "men" have the right to carry one though. I read somewhere that women weren't to be trusted

Why people need a gun for none illegal stuff is a bit weird though, why and for what, self defence, man points, killing game, shooting targets for fun. So it'd more dangerous with underground illegal guns than with it being legal? Like here in the UK where gun crime is not even the size of a pimple on an elephant comparatively to the US where it is legal to carry one? I think I may be missing your logic.
July 20, 201214 yr Why people need a gun for none illegal stuff is a bit weird though, why and for what, self defence, man points, killing game, shooting targets for fun. Living in a bit of a rural area, I know plenty of folk who have guns, they have them for perfectly legal shooting activities that range from clay pigeon shooting to shooting pheasants, pigeons and rabbits etc. I don't see what is weird about that at all, it' certainly better than "pretending" to have a gun and playing childish COD type games where the idea is to kill/maim as many things as you can as quickly as possible

KILL FRENZY!
July 20, 201214 yr And its probably that type of game that leads to some of the fucking shootings in the first place. KILL FRENZY! These games are for over 18s though. I wonder if the parents who actively encourage this behaviour will feel responsible should their little darling grown up into a murdering nutter.
July 20, 201214 yr But 18 year olds in the USofA are like 15 year olds over here. Theyre still at school, still cant drink, all live at home, all go to Chad Hogan's parties where they drink out of red cups etc.
July 20, 201214 yr I wasn't really going on about hunting guns, more like pistols and shotguns. And play Battlefield 3 conquest, hat's not kill as much as possible, it's communication and team work, though on team deathmatch, it's kill, kill, kill, though this COD, GTA etc has no influence on me in real life, I'd not know what do with a gun, though I were alreet on time crisis with a pretend gun.
