Given the options, I don't see how we could leave a caretaker manager in charge while we appoint someone else.

Sammy Lee would be about the best bet, and I can't see us going there again.

Everyone else seems to be related to or bezzies with the gaffer.

We'd have to get one management team out and one in very quickly, possibly under cover of darkness.

Sacking him could get messy.

same as when Megson went, his mates had to take the reigns for the FA cup tie and you could tell they weren't happy at all about having to do so

fortunately we had about 3 weeks between league games to get coyle in and just about managed it in time

and also for that reason couldn't see Gartside going for someone currently in employment

i.e. IF it happened whoever he wanted in next would no doubt be sounded out and ready to take over right away

He's got the next 3 games after intl break 3 games in 7 days if there isn't a good hall of points and a significant increase in performance he's gone - gartside is sweating over that sky deal next year.

And no one can be accused of hounding him out the entire fan base will be massively disappointed it hasn't worked but the bottom line is coyle has failed miserably it's disgraceful that we are just as appallingly bad as we were last season the players know it and he's lost the dressing room clearly.

they wont sack him. in real terms, narrowly not getting promoted and not getting promoted amount to the same thing and we won`t go down.

anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm is the old expression. its when the waters get choppy you see what a man is made of.

he`s had a downward spiral that wasn`t entirely of his making and while he certainly isn`t blameless in all this he has plenty of time to turn it round.

if we bounce back with a few wins it`ll be a different story.

his shit decisions are only shit decisions because they didn`t work out. any one can be wise after the event.

lets see what september holds.

i`m coming over all supportive which to be honest i`m not particularly but this is the likely reality

To continue your analogy, Coyle will soon have us here:

Not sure if this has been picked up, but Garty retweeted this.

@Kirkybwfc77: @pagartside I'd give Coyle at least till x-mas. Fans need to show a bit of patience and stop getting on teams back. #keepthefaith. #Bwfc

Please please don't give him this long Phillip.

looking a bit closer into garter's tweet,he's saying he'd give coyle until christmas, but maybe and i'm hoping and praying that maybe other people will not give him until christmas.

come on edwin, throw your hat into the ring and voice your opinions. it's ours and your club, say it loud and clear.

oh,and gartside, stop the 'keep the faith' bollocks you god faring twat, all faith has gone, esp from me
