Taliban claiming the attack on Camp Bastion was due to Prince Harry being there

 

Couple of our lot died defending it I believe

 

Now I understand the lad wants to go to war with the lads he trained with but I see no good to come from him being out there outside of his ego

 

He is never going to be on the front line and will be tucked well away, meanwhile every nutter in 1000 miles wants to have a pop and other lads are dieing defending the base who wouldnt have was Harry not out there

I think I read somewhere that they new he was there all along last time so it was decided it was pointless trying a media blackout this time.

What do you want him to do as a serving soldier? Maybe on the UK mainland in a recruitment office so the IRA can have a pop?

How many Apaches have been downed? I dont know the answer like but I am guessing you are much safer up there than you would be roaming round these villages looking for IED's and Nutters!

Whats the biggest shock is how they were able to get so close to Bastion with RPGs and small arms. Surely the sangers should have spotted them. Anyway 18 ragheads dead thats the main thing

Camp Bastion is an extremely busy place with thousands of vehicles entering and leaving every day. Assuming the insurgents on this occasion drove, which is a racing certainty, there will have nothing to distnguish their vehicle from any other. That 18 of them were killed would suggest to me that the blokes in the sangars did exactly what they were there to do.

 

I must remember to pop a post on here one day telling you how you should have done your job better.

Because The Taliban, being primitive and ignorant 'ragheads' who probably still point at aeroplanes, could never dream of feeding stories for propaganda purposes could they?
