oh

So Megson was better than Souness about 5 years ago. Since then Souness has excelled in balancing on a Sky chair

Obvious choice to be manager this time then!!!

Freedman still bang on favourite...all the others drifted out now.

NB likes this.

I was wavering but this post had made me get the pitch forks back out.

I did him a disservice in my initial post. I forgot about the high bar like stools he has to negotiate on Champions League nights

But they don't let him near the fancy computer screens do they?

That'll let him down in the interview.

Souness would be something of a disappointment, even for a club that's falling faster than Felix

It would appear 95 people have removed their votes from the poll.

96 now fuck it cant beat em join em

Can we not have a "justice" option for the 96?

Bolton news will report tomorrow that someone is saying they were offered the job

My Burnley mate who Traf has met, as above.

that wouldnt be kb would it?

No.

I've been told tonight that we have got our man, but he will not be in place for 4 weeks.

I'm thinking this means OGS.

Sorry, Alf. I'm thinking it's just another rumour.

It's not a rumour.

It's the same source that told me about Coyle being appointed, and I was the first to say on here.

This one might be 'tongue in cheek' though.

So, the ambiguous press release might state something along the lines of:

A so-far unnamed manager has been appointed to the hot seat recently vacated by Owen Coyle. The club is confident that the current temporary incumbents, Phillips, Lee and Darby, can adequately keep the ship on an even keel until the winter break forced upon some clubs in the Norwegian League or any other league which gets a winter break.

It is felt important that the so-far unnamed manager remains a secret to stop the six-fingered cunts up the A666 from offering him 2/6 a week extra for putting up wit a family of chicken farmers.

Also Palace play Millwall, now Millwall have seen off a number of managers recently I seem to remember summat on Talksport about it, maybe it is Freedmans last game against them also!

As anyone heard a rumour saying that mcCarthy has been offered the job if he wants it. Thats what I have just heard. I hope its rubbish.

The story published in the BEN is what I was told yesterday.
