at 3.28PM i put on my Facebook (Because i couldnt get on here on the phone) 4-2 to us, i just hope this is the turning point. Gutted what happened to Scotts n Harvesters, not good.

Can we talk about the match now? :shiftyninja:

Did you go, our kid?

Well impressed with comeback and motivation of the players - something lacking under Coyle. Know Bristol aren't the best but some good football played by us in second half. Let's hope this is the turning point!

I missed all the fun and game yesterday due to playing catch up at work through my van cock up. tower fm actually inspired me with confidence saying at 2-0 down,we would piss the game, they sensed the feeling and atmosphere had changed.

speaking to a lad i know from bristol,he admitted we were head and shoulders above them and looked by far the best team they've played this season, saying they were 2 up after touching the ball about a dozen times at most ! like i say,i wasn't there so can't back up his comments.

re the off field matters,he said they'd earmarked this match before the fixtures were out and every tom, dick and fred west was up for it. trouble wasn't planned, just a good piss up was the order of the day but too much scrumpy and an extraordinary lack of policing, they took advantage of the situation

they certainly took us by surprise eh pal ?

i've simmered down since yesterday, but still not happy with it. i spoke to a bristol lad last night, asked him he didn't let us know they were all turning out. we could have had sandwiches and cake laid on waiting for them, but he honestly reckons the trouble wasn't planned. still, the nice chap invited us down for the return fixture where he guaranteed a nice west country welcome.

the lack of old bill was unreal by all accounts

No, pwopa, like Gween Stweet :D

Oh dear, hope everyone is ok

Who the fuck are you to tell someone to grow up ?

Something happened and someone asks a question to what it was like , so what ?

Who the fuck are you ? China ?

Nah I was just there watching loads of kids crying and women getting hit

I hope BC goes through life without anything really devestating happening to him

If you went in Scotts before or after any game and looked around you'd see families and 'standard' fans .....if you asked me to estimate how many of them would be up for it I'd say about 5%.......it's not like it used to be

As I said, it was pathetic

There is a school of thought though that if there'd been more Bolton not rights around they wouldn't have taken "liberties" amongst families and standard fans.

It's the Bristol lot who I'd call pathetic.

I was way too young ( not to mention soft) to get involved in any of the stuff in the 80s but I remember the Freight Rover at Wembley v Bristol City in 1986 when it was going off most of the day. Then, as others have said, there was a late season game in 89/90 with Bristol City chasing promotion when they brought thousands and there was all kinds of trouble. Have a vague memory of Mark Gavin playing for Bristol that day and somebody lobbing something at him from the Burnden Paddock.

Saw all the stuff inside the ground but headed off in completely the opposite direction to Scotts etc afterwards.

the 86 wembley also saw the unexpected appearance of a big gang of millwall who've got serious history with bristol city. fair amount of shenanigans with both teams around wembley that day.

our coach was parked slap bang in the middle of all the bristol lot. walking back to our coach was very eventful. one of our lot ripped some wipers off a vehicle and caught me full in the face with it in the ensuing melee. seem to remember a coach from the red lion at four lane ends being parked there as well and they all bailed off to get us a much needed lift.

the game around 1990 was their promtion party which we spoiled. i walked in yates's early doors, must of been 400 of them in there already. when bolton eventually came out to play, plenty of incidents all the way to burnden

Football league show - http://www.bbc.co.uk...013_21_10_2012/ 45:20 in for the brief highlights. They reckon we have created more goal-scoring chances than any other side in the division.

I never thought i'd say this but this programme really is worse than MOTD .Two minutes coverage on 45 minutes for anyone who hasn't seen it yet .

Small club in a small league, Jue

30 odd games to cover in 45 minutes.

A shame they dont do a regional version of it.

i think they did a year or so back

presented by tony burnley fan?

maybe late on a monday

I did shit myself a little bit when the lighter got thrown, blew up right next to me wondered what the fuck it was. Was expecting any minute them to come over that barrier, worst since Stoke that.

Them bully boy stewards are really starting to piss me off. The rocker lad who got thrown out in the second half, fucking right out of order that was. Yes, his dress sense is abit different but hes been sat there a few years now. All i saw him do was give abit of shit when the third went in!

I saw that, what was he chucked out for?

they could get Elton Welsby to present it

enjoyed the game yesterday, thought for the first half 25 mins we looked nervous silly free kick we gave away that led to the corner for the goal and silly error for the penalty, same old story, but when we scored we grew in confidence. Second half we came out and bossed it, thought the football we played for the two goals was superb, that touch of Petrov before finishing was as good as you'll see anywhere.

Spearing was superb yet again, Like the look of Warnock, wasnt convinced when we loaned him, happy to be proved wrong, Afobe had a good game and SKD showed some good touches, If we continue like that second half then we will be reet this season whoever comes in as a manager has a great team around them in Phillips, Darby and Lee.

SJM full of optimism again.
