DirtySanchez Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 The kits will tell you whether or not what you've got in your pocket actually contains the chemical you hope it does. And roughly what strength it is. You just chip a tiny bit off and then mix it with some fluid - it turns a different colour depending on what's actually in it and goes darker depending on the strength. So if you've paid for MDMA and then it comes up positive for ketamine (or something bizarre you've never heard of) - then at least you can make a more educated decision on whether you're going to neck. But what would you compare it to, Given that e's are illegal you've never got anything to compare to in order to tes it's quality. Who decides? I've got nothing against folk who take drugs, each to their own and I took plenty in my uni days. Quote

You don't personally have to compare it to anything - the chemists who've designed it have done that already. They're legit pieces of kit - used by a lot of drug awareness charities and so forth. gonzo Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Think we are on to something here folks. I'm going to set up a human pill testing booth outside every major club. You can give Me and other experienced clubbers half a pill and we will tell you if they are kosher or not. If I need a shit or to violently gag after about 40 mins you know they're good. If I start getting pissed and falling asleep they're shite. If I die, throw them in the bin. Quote
kent_white Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Yeah - and if we start leaning on bannisters that don't exist and dancing with wheelchair users then you k ow you're onto a winner! Quote
gonzo Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Last time I had one I hid a gram in my mates house for safe keeps. We subsequently spent about 3 hours trying to find it once we noticed it missing. It was eventually found under the butter in the fridge. Quote

Ha ha - I was swapping pill stories with a mate of mine the other day. He told me about one night when they all got back to his friends house - absolutely mashed and were a bit trippy. All sat on the floor chatting shit and my mate was messing about fiddling with a radiator. He felt something behind it and pulled it out and it was a caricature picture of Andy Impey that must have been stuck down there for 20 odd years. I don't know why this amused me so much :-) http://www.sportsworldcards.com/ekmps/shops/sportsworld/images/west-ham-united-andy-impey-s3-019-promatch-98-football-trading-card-30126-p.jpg Quote

Good on 'em. I don't see why all the big events shouldn't have facilities like that personally. Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 If everyone in the world had a pill the world would be a nicer place... Personally, I wish there was some testing when I was Cl being rather than thinking every time I had a speckled Mitsubishi I was doing heroin too. Bill Hicks had it reet. Although drugs aren't for everyone and even though I say if everyone had a pill it'd be good, it wouldn't. But make it as safe as possible, embrace it. https://youtu.be/7fGm_jg45To Quote
whiteboy Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Glad Fabric is re-opening - keep the kiddies and tourists out of other venues.Article is spot on although I think it's a bit of smokescreen with Fabric particularly....the council want rid as that area is prime for development and the Met have it in for the owners. Saw Cosmic Gate/Super8 & Tab at Ministry on Friday....quality night. Was impressed with a couple of Millwall lads on the way out who were heading straight up to Euston to get upto Bolton...love to know what state they were in by kick-off. Quote
Marc505 Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Watched Pete Tong's Ibiza Classics last night. It was *alright* good to see how a 60 piece orchestra can interpret dance music, but just weren't enough bangers for me. Highlight - Cafe Del Mar complete with an Ibiza montage on the big screen behind Quote

Pisses me off watching Pete Tong making out like he's some kind of musical genius while an orchestra full of classically trained musicians play 4/4 :-) Quote

kent_white Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 What's the best line up for a night you've ever been to? Remember a NYE at Alexandra Palace in about 1998. Orbital live - Laurent Garnier Live - Chemical Brothers live and then Sasha and Digweed back to back. Pick that one out :-) Quote

Few big nights at gatecrasher could rival it. Scott bond, pvd, tiesto , John Fleming, ferry corsten all on the same bill. Quote

Seen your boy Ben Nicky at Ministry & Kearney at this last year so probably play it by ear. Would like to see Dan Stone and hope we get the elusive Armin Vinyl set after it got canned last year!
