 Such squirming. Jealousy is a terrible thing.

You will have the last laugh. It will only be sunny until about the 15th May next year and then we get a showery spell for about 6 weeks.

I won't be laughing then, will I?

I think I speak for many when I say, I don't mind the British Autumn/Winter in the lead up to Christmas, not so keen on the dark at 4pm and don't understand why the clocks go back, but, it feels 'right' to have the nights drawing in and a nip in the air.

It's January, February and March when the joke starts to wear a bit thin - the sun's low in the sky, it's icy as fook and everything looks harsh, sharp and bleak...That's when I start looking for flights and daydreaming about warmer climes.

You don't speak for me, I hate October to March.

I've learnt to embrace it. I love walking the long haired jack russell mongrel of a winter's morn up Rivington.
